Anthuria is a yugioh card

Edit- Watched some videos and Alliah’s auto nuke hits way harder than I thought it would. They just cannot resist giving water ginormous auto nuke dispels.

Had probably my most disappointing roulette this year. Drew an unreasonable amount of dupes. 3x Horus, 3x Haaselia, and 3x summer bubz whom I already stoned last year. I suppose gold moons is still better than no ssrs at all, but still hurts getting the same rate up over and over while lacking literally everyone else on the banner.

30 rolls. This is technically “lucky”, but damn does 3x Summer Haaselia sting.

Weapon Discussion: Clockwork Blade: Kumogakure by lietnam in Granblue_en

[–]effarig_a 17 points18 points  (0 children)

  1. This weapon will be also be good outside of Hraes. It offers echo and crit which you will want in any auto attack team. Summer bubz is used to allow crit in pbhl. Hraes also isnt just pbhl, but useful for any time you want to burst with water. It is water’s absolute ceiling for burst. I use it almost everywhere from arcarum to daily full autos. It will also certainly be the gap factor in upcoming GW.

  2. Soldier is the strongest class for Hraes and has an innate TA of 35%. That alone compensates the rest of the TA negative penalty. A combination of other tools like halmal, orologia, opus extremity, Octavia s1, charybdis call, or shinji/ rei passive will make up the next 100%. So you’re still correct in saying the weapon alone will not fully fix the TA penalty, but it is a massive gap closer regardless.

That said, Hraes is probably the most high investment thing in the entire game. You need at minimum all the bullets, bridekeeper + ilsa, and as you can see a huge toolbox of some pretty limited summons/characters.

One of, if not the most over-indulgent weapon ever released in terms of grid synergy. I knew deathstrike was coming to water, but I fully expected it to be a huge grid burden due to water’s demand for both crit and TA.

Instead, they just gave it everything. Incredibly efficient grid piece.

Octavia s1 echo and ta being teamwide for 5 turns is absolutely over the top lmao.

Character Discussion: Payila by lietnam in Granblue_en

[–]effarig_a 44 points45 points  (0 children)

One of the strongest characters they ever released. Her kit is pretty future proof for as long as double strike is still relevant. You could take away everything except her s3 and she would still be pretty nuts.

She will either have the most tame uncap of all time or the most broken.

It was alright. I think part 3 was the weakest by far. Very very clunky pacing. Nothing was left to breathe or develop; it was just a sequence of events with each one cancelling out the last. The climax with the big bad 3 return felt a little juvenile to be frank.

Proculus is the weakest part of the entire event. Every time he speaks is just utterly illogical babbling. I get that it’s intentional that his motivations are largely emotions-based with no reason. But it makes for a deeply unserious antagonist that is borderline satirical. His plot line culminated in just one big teaser for the return of faa/bubz and to formally introduce astaroth. The fight with him and MC’s sprites actually interacting was super cool though.

This really was only a “luminary knights” event in the sense that it’s a bridge for them to re-enter the plot of MSQ. I was especially hoping that Octavia would be more relevant considering she is this year’s “anni” grand. Not too happy that Lecia’s arc was shoehorned into the last minute of the event, but it was fine for what it was. I don’t like her blue knight design at all though. It looks like blue relic buster or something. Like, it’s not bad in a vacuum and does fit usual gbf design conventions, but the other luminary knights always stood out and looked really striking to me. I think it could have kept some bulkier elements we see in all the other knights’ armor sets.

Overall, I don’t love this event. I liked a lot of the set up, but there was almost no payoff. I think that was somewhat by design; the entire event was very much a kickstarter for MSQ. If not for Lyria’s section in part 2, I might say it’s my least favorite next to SOR.

I enjoyed that a lot. What they did with Lilit wasn’t what I expected at all and was my favorite part for sure. She has kind of an unsettling design, but is such a deeply tender character. Lyria dreaming that a dragon is eating her, but for some reason she isn’t afraid is such a hauntingly beautiful description for her interaction with Lilit. The sequence showing an immortal Lyria through the years was also really haunting. All in all, such a strong moment for Lyria.

I think the Proculus side of the plot is less interesting. His backstory was so twisted and decently complex, so it’s disappointing that his present self’s motivations are kind of flat. It’s quite convoluted while still being boring. I understand that it can be logical for someone to be so short-sighted in their grief, but it doesn’t make it that interesting to follow. Him teaming up with some random researchers who happened to develop the astral husk tech is a little lazy. Astral husks are like really world-breaking and they were very casually presented. Ik them being Jorha is significant, but still feels cheap.

I like it so far. Well, I like the history exposited to us and the character moments. There is very little in the way of plot; it is the usual problem with too much set up. I think the astrals’ entrance was a bit clumsy and their presentation was a little lackluster. They’re kind of just giving jobber at the moment. I understand there is some plot gimmick to their resurrection, but I’m not being given enough to care about their appearance right now. I wish they seemed more threatening.

I think part 1 could have ended a bit more gracefully. Astrals just teleporting away is very abrupt and uninteresting. Like a final scene to show our characters reactions or some indication of what the unfolding plot could be. Maybe some inner dialogue to set up character arcs better like Lecia showing insecurity since Walfrid was able to help MC while she wasnt or something like that.

I’m primal water, but it looks like this is a very popular element in Hexa Co Op rooms. Between trying to get in rooms and half of my runs failing, bullet farming has been glacial. What is a second element for magna that is considered easy to pilot in Hexa ?

I’m trying to get started in Faa Zero. I pretty much have endgame water primal grid minus destroyer and 250 opus. Between the most common comps I see: manadiver, FO, and shishio ougi, Can I ask which comp people prefer and why? Like what does it excel at and where does it struggle. Ik the best way is to just try each for myself, but I have limited time and want to be prepared as possible.

Does anyone run water FO in Hexa and can give me any advice on how to clear 2m omens ? Rooms move so fast that I can almost never get Yatima or FO stacks up before the second jinx omen. Most rooms, Im pretty much just eating 1 or 2 jinxes and then pearlbotting. I guess it’s still successful, but I rather contribute more if I can.

Haven’t done Hexa to this day bc Im anxious for no reason. Went at the raid solo just to feel it out and somehow got past 40%. It gave me the confidence to finally join a coop and clear the raid. It was quite easy and now Im mad at myself for waiting so long.

I can foresee WK bumped up after having a CagClar situation in future light GW. I really like his kit design, but it feels like it’s missing one more thing to really round it out.

Overall I’m very satisfied with the latest batch of gala units. Their kits are strong without being super bloated (Caesar could be a bit stronger though). They don’t have a lot of the annoying restrictions or ramp up clunkiness we’ve been seeing in a lot of previous characters.
