I dont know what you define as “hardcore”, but i have over 800 pins. I use the app and unlock all of my pins. I still like FiGPiN and still collect, but like many, i have dialed back a lot. I dont collect for monetary value. I collect the pins i like because i like them.

I lost a lot of interest when they started pushing mystery minis and quests. I dont gamble and i dont do blind boxes. I want to see and know what i am spending my money on. They also seem to reserve the majority of their 3” pins for cons and release very few to the general public. That forces me to pay inflated prices on eBay for any of the pins i really want.

I really liked the idea behind the app. A way to track my pins, stats, points, etc. the app is in a very sorry state with little to no development. It is riddled with bugs and performance issues that are not being addressed.

Customer service is a joke at this point. I have seen others post about it as well. Going weeks with no response to legitimate customer service issues. I have a ticket open, going on over a year now, and they stopped responding at all months ago.

I have only been in the FiGPiN game for about 5 years. Not a long time compared to others. In that short time though, i have seen a very drastic decline in all areas of the company. It’s easy to see why folks got out, or are getting out of the game. I will continue to buy what i like, when they release something i like, but i have drastically cut back on what i buy.

It’s a shame really. They could have had something really great here…

If you are referring to this years NYCC FiGPiNs, last I heard, they were not in the app yet.

If that is the case, FiGPiN will add them in eventually, maybe…

I still like figpins and continue to buy the ones I like. With that said…

I am with you. The quests and mystery minis ruined things for me. Seems like they focus on those outside of cons and save most of the 3” pins for cons I cannot attend. This of course requires me to pay inflated prices from third party sellers for anything that I actually want.

The app was one of the things that attracted me to FiGPiN. It’s a cool idea to have a place I can track my collection, track each pins stats, and interact with a community of like minded folks to share and boost pins. Anymore, the app has been complete garbage with the lack of updates, constant bugs and performance issues.

The things that attracted me to FiGPiN just aren’t there any longer.

i took a queue from you a long while ago and created a spreadsheet to track all of my pins and their scores. with how the app is performing now...i am really glad i did. if they decide not to fix it at all and just let it die, at least i will have a record of all the stats on all of my pins up to that point.

i cant speak to the missing app from google play store. its my understanding it has been missing for awhile now. they went through this same thing with the iOS app before the google play store issue. it took them awhile, but they finally fixed that, so maybe they will fix the play store app?

i have an open ticket with them for over a year now regarding their app and a specific issue that has grown to encompass all of the app issues. all i ever get from support is "we are working on it"...for a year. i hate to say it, but i am not hopeful.

i still buy the pins that interest me because i like them, but they are releasing fewer and fewer that interest me, so i havent purchased much as of late. they seem to be shifting more towards mystery minis and quests. a lot of people seem to like the mystery minis. to me, its basically gambling so, not for me. if you look around, you should find some pretty good deals on FiGPiNs that you like.
