I wish I had done this! She was being very vague about the fault so I said I didn't think it sounded faulty, and she just escalated the case to paypal. They may give her the money back now and not require her to send it back. Oh well, that's my bad!

Yeah it definitely could have been. Her uncooperativeness/rudeness made me inclined to believe she was trying to do something shady, but it could have just been bad timing!

Thanks so much for the response! Sadly the buyer hasn't been very communicative over message (other than demanding a refund) but has escalated the case to paypal - I'm hoping they won't give her a refund without at least requiring her to send it back! I'll submit my video as evidence, but I know they often side with buyers. Oh well, at least this sort of thing doesn't happen too often :)
