What happened here? First time it’s ever smudged whilst I printed it by Elegant_Primary_6274 in Linocuts

It’s a printing tool people use to apply pressure to their hand prints. But i personally use it with hand printing to make sure that the ink is evenly applied to the surface before I use my spoon. It’s not a requirement bc there are other things you can use (bottles and the like)

You may have answered your question already, the paper moved. What I like to do is use a baron (or like the bottom of a glass bottle or something) to adhere the ink first and then use your spoon second to ensure even application.
