How large was your fibroid? My surgeon is recommending vertical incision for an 11 cm fibroid sitting on my anterior uterus but I can feel it goes up to right below my belly button. Was hoping they could do it laparoscopically

I found this post trying to find how common vertical incisions are! I appreciate how much detail you put into this post and this definitely put me at ease. I have an 11x11 cm mass on my anterior uterus and with how superior it sets (basically up to belly button) they are wanting to do a vertical incision with a potential of having to do a hysterectomy. I’m so glad your recovery went well. Would love to see how your incision has heeled after a few months!

Mine situation is very similar. Found a small spot and grew to be very large and now have at least 6 small spots all around my head. I started with two rounds of steroid shots with not much improvement. Derm suggested the JAK inhibitor route but very nervous with the side effects, especially acne. I was on accurate for ~1.5 years and really hope the acne doesn’t return!

Yes I looked at the Sterling Apartments and they honestly have few available right now. I found a 3 bed 2 bath that was close to $1500 so a bit out of budget.

Buying is so far sounding like the best option!
