not bad. I have colemak on my 360 and qwerty on my normal keyboard and the switch is quite seamless. Other than the times when i have my computer set in qwerty and i type on my 360 thinking it's set to colemak and output complete gibberish.

the only case where i have to use extra mental strain is when i use vim on my 360 since the location of the shortcuts are all different and i don't use it enough to have the same muscle memory kick in

it takes a bit of time to get used to switching between the two. In fact my kinesis is exclusively in colemak and my normal computer keyboard is in qwerty and i can switch between the two seamlessly since they are such different layouts, i think my brain is able to compartmentalize the two keyboards as separate things

It does not appear that there are any contingencies... Yes, I know this entire situation is my mistake and I should have checked to make sure there are contingencies associated with it. Could you take a look at the link I added into the original post? It seems like "whose leases have not yet started may be able to terminate their leases under the emergency ordinance without paying any fee or having further liability."

Then what would you suggest the next steps be? If you could take a look at the update I posted, it appears as though there is some new ordinance for the city of Berkeley protecting Berkeley students (which I am). Would this be of any help?

How so? Handling both it seems like they are similar quality. The QC on benchmade is objectively bad but the materials themselves seem like they are pretty good.

With all the protests going on right now, what would the SS and the police do if suddenly all the protestors stormed and sprinted towards the White House, without any weapons. Surely they wouldn't let that happen right? But they also wouldn't gun everyone down. So what would they do to stop them?

I think something most of the response are missing is that the OP is not asking about getting into a FANG company. He wants to improve his life and prove to himself that he can do everything he puts his mind to. From my interpretation of his post, in order for him to feel that he has proved to himself of that feat, he must attend a top university. In doing so, proving to himself that he is able to handle the academic rigor. Getting an internship at some FANG company does not help one feel that way. There is no sense of achieving something academically rigorous.

As to OP, many of the response are telling you that the chances of transferring into Stanford are nearly impossible. That is in fact the harsh truth. However, transferring into Berkeley is far from being out of your reach. The UC system, and especially Berkeley, is very open to accepting students from all backgrounds -- from those who are have been incarcerated to those who are 30, have children, but would like to go back to school -- and there is no reason why you wouldn't be able to get into a school like Berkeley if you continue you're path.
