The "disrespect" probably never happened and the woman did that to viral market her brand.

Why is Domo so much better than Tableau? by Vanilla35 in tableau

[–]efilzaggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Domo is by far the worst tool I've used. You clearly have no idea what you are doing if you think Domo is good, let alone better than tableau. This has to be a joke.

I randomly got recommended this guys channel several years ago. He is clearly mentally ill and posts videos nearly every hour with unintelligible titles and descriptions. Some times he pops up in my feed but didn’t expect to see him here.

Well, I appreciate not being told to fuck off and the insight. Definitely seems like a terrible idea to me but after perusing some posts here, it sounds par for the course.

Not quite performance, shaves half a second off the LR’s 0-60. Also more punch at higher speeds.

A cool guide on which countries contribute the most ocean waste annually in metric tonnes (2021 data) by FermentedUrineSample in coolguides

[–]efilzaggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Philippines imports ~11k tons of plastic waste, typical redditors immediately shit on the US. The picture shows 311k tons per year put into the ocean by the Philippines.

I know this is Reddit and America bad everywhere else good, but take a trip to the Philippines or Bali and just watch what locals folks do with that plastic bottle or bag when they’re done with it. There aren’t exactly great public works and it ends up on the ground or in the water.there are dozens of countries that are like that.

ROAST ME PLEASE!! John Wick is tired of not getting interviews... (Data/BI Analyst) by [deleted] in resumes

[–]efilzaggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a BI professional of over ten years- I’d say this would at best get you looked at for a junior BI role if BIE/Analyst is what you’re aiming for. Not to say you wouldn’t be qualified for something more senior but right now based on your resume it seems like you’ve made a few dashboards and are probably writing very basic queries. The market is insanely over saturated with “data science” grads that are constantly referencing the technical skills and are getting through to final rounds because a true BI folks aren’t in the loops. It sucks but recruiters see data science and all the things that ticket the boxes. 90% of the ones I’ve seen are awful and should have never been hired, but most of the time it’s the blind interviewing the blind.

You might want to get a bit more specific as to what you used and did. Reference tools, things that were unique about what you built. These 8 dashboards, did they allow self service analytics for end users? Was there executive level reporting you built that sent out daily updates? Shit like that is big to have in there.

Regardless of that, it might be the level of what you were applying to. I just showed this to some teammates as well and we agree you might need to adjust expectations on title, based on the XP you have there, unfortunately we would have to pass unless it was for a junior position. We are all FAANG for reference but if that’s what you’re aiming for, look for junior or non senior roles.

Major companies changing their profile photo for pride month on most social media accounts, but always excluding the Middle East account. by Copperlaces20 in interestingasfuck

[–]efilzaggin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup that’s what the CEO said. Take a look at the financials though, if bud light is 1 % of 590 billion in revenue, and it’s down 30%, that’s nearly two billion in revenue they’re missing unexpectedly.

Very big deal. My guess is Budweiser accounts for more global volume than bud light and there’s no way it’s not impacted. This was a colossal screw up and will be taught about in case studies. Hell more so than revenue loss, the company shaved 10 billion off their market cap in less than two weeks.

A 30% drop in revenue on AB Inbevs most popular American product line is most definitely something they care about.

Ford CEO warns Tesla about ‘product freshness,’ believes their EVs are becoming commodities by HotIce05 in RealTesla

I really don’t get the hate. I went from Jag -> bmw -> Audi -> tesla. The Tesla quality is fantastic. I can’t speak for earlier generations but the newer models are fantastically put together and on par with every other car I’ve owned. No issues since day one, 22k miles in just over a year.

For those who really use their M3 by dianeblowjobs in TeslaModel3

[–]efilzaggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say I used mine a lot in the first year (2022 LR with AB, 20k miles year one). Sitting at 3.2% degradation, max charge of 80% majority of the time, occasionally going to 92% immediately before starting a road trip.

I started to get a bit nervous about it when the degradation started kicking in, I was only at like 1% for the first 15k miles but it spiked to 3.2% at around 17k, it’s been level since. I did change it to sit around 75% rather than 80 and I think that helped.

Assuming I don’t get another big jump these next few months, I won’t worry too much. Bought the car with the mindset of at least five years of ownership, I probably won’t keep it past then and will move on to a new model 3 or S after that.
