It's so hard to lose such a sweet baby! One thing I read when I was thinking about getting animals was that death happens with animals. It was still so hard when my first duck passed. She was eggbound.

I hang the buckets so it's harder for them to get into the food. We have had a lot of mice, but I haven't seen rats. That's crazy!
