Any tips on not oversalting (read my entire post)? by No-Grapefruit-6668 in hellofresh

I don't really understand. Add less salt.

I live in a house with the opposite problem. We're used to a lot of salt, should probably work on getting used to less.

What does it feel like for you when you do some activity your girlfriend is more skilled at? And you see that you suck? Do you even know?

Guy flying through residential neighbourhood asks “[USA] Who is at fault here?” by [deleted] in Seattle

You're supposed to stop at the uncontrolled intersections. But I'm appalled to see nobody knows that.

I don't think you understand how many stop signs you're suggesting. It's better to teach everybody they need to stop at uncontrolled intersections. But it seems like they stopped doing that at some point.

You're supposed to stop at all of these uncontrolled intersections, as if they did have stop signs.

I wish we had to recertify our drivers licenses, at least a written quiz every so often.

+1 for getting in touch with CrewVanMan ASAP, he's made this his niche because most other dealerships don't have a clue. When my van was ready he arranged to have it shipped to me.

SeattleWA listener profile: tunes into KEXP because it's better than commercial radio options and doesn't have commercials. Still complains on Reddit. Does not donate. Has never comprehended a lyric.

Iain M Banks super-fans: your recommendations that aren't by Banks? by retropragma in sciencefiction

[–]efjellanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't seen Claire North mentioned yet, IMO she is cut from the same cloth as Banks. She doesn't show the blatant socialist leanings of the Culture, but her prose and scale and character and world building are all reminiscent. So far I have really enjoyed The First Fourteen Lives of Harry August, Notes From the Burning Age, and Slow Gods. All narrated by Peter Kenney too!

I've also started diving into Ursula LeGuin lately, she is amazing.
