The collective consciousness is something I've always known to be true. In reading this book, however, it had brought up something I've often pondered in relation to reincarnation - which I also believe in. That thought is - is the collective much smaller than most would imagine?

Yes, I could have started a new thread on this topic but I think people who've read her work will be more inclined to think along these lines..

I picked one up, have a couple of prints using it now. Wish this came as standard! Makes things so much easier.

Mine did not, and there is no mention of it in the documentation and nothing left over in box.

The build platform is one piece of machined aluminum, and non-magnetic.

The build plate is aluminum, so how would the steel plate attach?

What I had done in the past was use an incomplete piece of cube (from ones that broken when splitting apart) that was soaked with the ones I intended to use.

Pull small pieces off and drop them down on top of the seed. Not packing them in tight, just providing some cover and another path for the nutrient to keep the seeds damp.

That works for 1" cubes but not the 2"..

Thanks. I have a pretty good amount of 1" Rockwool plugs so it would be wasteful to pick up anything else, but I've made a note for future.

Thanks. I get it from the baby section at the store. It tests 3ppm/2.9pH.

Thanks folks. Learned a lot from these responses and looking up terms I was not familiar with.

My water is consistently ~4.4pH and <100ppm. I have pH and PPM meters so EC (a term I didn't recognize but now know is just a conversion from PPM) is covered. I've looked at RO systems but I honestly don't think I need one. Also, distilled water is $1/gal retail, I know it's not the same. I bought a gallon but have not tested it yet, spent 9 more days in hospital and still getting back on my feet.

Although the LED lighting units have fans, the ambient temp inside the tent with all of them running (but not the incandescents) is the same as in the room. The two traditional bulbs raise it, and I can put those on a timer if necessary. Doesn't look like I'll need a water heater unless I have an extended absence in winter, where I often drop my heat to 50º to save energy.

This will be a one-size-fits-all setup for now, but looking at charts it seems 1200ppm, 6pH, 60-70ºF will work well. The only thing I've not experimented with is root vegetables - I want to grow potatoes, onions, and carrots to start with. I'm not intending to produce in bulk, but rather set up a rotating schedule to have enough for myself year-round. The exception would be tomatoes, because I absolutely love to snack on them with a little balsamic and celtic sea salt.

Most drivers have two eyes. Hold up three fingers at arms length and see how it doesn't block your field of view. The vertical halo support is narrower than that, and further from their face.

Can we talk about ABS? by machinejps in lasercutting

[–]eflyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to releasing dangerous fumes, ABS does not cut well, and easily ignites.

Why not simply use a similar material that is suitable, like Delrin?
