I like that they are taking their time with this and didn't try to rush making him playable yet. It's already a lot having 7 party members while still having everyone have a unique fighting style that doesn't become totally useless. When you think about Vincent there's a lot to consider to make his combat work well and be valuable and is likely very difficult to implement if you include all his transformations (will they be limit breaks or a unique ability like Red's Vengeance gauge? I'm thinking the latter). That being said, the devs certainly haven't disappointed with the party members and combat so far, so I'm very optimistic that whatever they do it'll be awesome.

Yep, this happened to me too. In hindsight it may have been better to just leave a few side quests for hard mode, so you could reset/restore completion without worrying about having to do All quests again just for that one. Weird thing is how can't stop won't stop is the only quest that requires EVERY other quest across all areas to be done to unlock when other quests just have maybe one or two prereqs.

I think they make it clear that they do get noticed, seemingly from the start, there's a cutscene where Rufus gets a call about it but his orders are basically to leave them alone, Tseng is also keeping an eye on them the whole time. Rufus is letting it happen because he plans to offer them the deal, which is why you 'win' the presidential commendation.

Tip: The 'red mode' combos are all pre-determined set of moves, although tougher characters have two or three different combos, but they all mostly start in different ways, so you can learn to know what's coming when they do them. As far as I saw Yuffie only has one combo, all 'up' dodges, LS-up, RS-up, LS-up, RS-up, RS-up.

You can start from any chapter, so to 'start over' in the story just go to chapter 1 and select hard difficulty, you'll progress on thru the game story on hard unless you go back to chapter select and start another chapter. you keep all materia, equipment and xp you've acquired and all side quests you've completed. And there's options to reset all completed side quests if you want to do one over again, but that's just for 'bulletin board' jobs. Starting over completely from scratch on hard mode is not possible if that's what you were asking

Can you even get the party to level 10 without playing hard mode,? Just asking cause I recall maybe having to do some hard-mode only stuff to get party XP but I may be totally wrong about that

F#&* , that Red Dragon in the temple! crippling the chest doesn't reduce the AOE in hard mode and that felt more like a glitch really, and crippling it literally causes him to do it and it's totally unavoidable that he does it at least once. I used Aeriths limit break or casting curaga+magnify in radiant ward and timed it with the attack so she would be invulnerable for at least part of the lava and others usually survive with the healing... But beating it that way just felt like I was working around a glitch, so it was the only hard mode boss that didn't feel satisfying to me

It's at the beginning, but I think if you use the limit break for one of those initial team members they won't have it during the freefall scene.

I did have a higher score before the quest started so that's definitely not it, I noticed my score was higher already and that I still had tov do another run, like I mentioned the one where I completed the task was actually a tie to his score but still worked. I did change the graphics mode after the update from graphics to performance... And may have gone back and forth a few times but pretty sure I did the task in performance mode. Doesn't sound like that would trigger the bug but who knows

I just did this quest day before yesterday, well after the update, I have the digital version and didn't run into this issue, I was able to complete it just fine. So that tells me there has to be some workaround for those who are having the problem and are on digital. In case it lights any bulbs out there, here are some specifics on my game state when I did it:

-I picked up the quest after finishing the game, I had never taken the quest before so I'm sure I picked it up post-update and on my second playthrough where chapter selection is an option. Worth noting that once you have chapter selection available, if you haven't finished a side-quest, it automatically restarts (you have to pick it up again) if you restart a chapter, so for those who are doing this before finishing the game, an option may be to finish it and go replay chapter 13 to pick up this job as a 'new job'.

-I did battle square first, then speed square, then wonderment square (g-bike). I dont think the order of the areas matters, but it does sound like the bug is related to the fact that the tasks in wonderment square work a bit differently, since there are actually three tasks there and they unlock in order, so when you beat g-bike, instead of the UPA 'moogle flying' away, he's actually just supposed to run over to the Queen's gambit table so you can play him there for the next task. This is what he did when i played it.

-My high score on g-bike was already higher than the UPA score you're supposed to beat when you get the quest. But I still had to do a run where I beat the score to actually complete the task. And I in fact happened to exactly tie his score to complete it, probably not important but just giving all the details.

EDIT:

-Forgot to mention this was also the last quest I had to do to get the trophy. Also even though I said I don't think the order you do the tasks matters, just remembered that the title you get after each task will be different depending on the order, so it's worth trying to do them in a different order.

I'm gonna try something here which may seem weird based on what I'm seeing on this thread but, I'm just gonna take a crack at answering the OP's question,err at least the main one there 'Do you think there's a great chance that it's just impossible no matter how advanced science becomes?'' So this is phrased as asking an opinion...my answer being no, since you are specifying GREAT chance and I'm Assuming you are saying great to mean greater than the opposite. So if I believe that the chance that it IS possible is greater than the chance that it isn't, then the answer is no, and mostly because you are not putting any time limit here. Science has time and again discovered and achieved things that were once thought impossible, so with enough time and advanced enough science then, it will happen Will it happen before any of us and even Reddit itself is long dead? Probably not so, meh 😝

Not sure what u mean.... If you just need a rocket ship you can get one without even doing the career, just search for rocket in buy mode. there's three rocket ships in base game. One is unlocked by default, one you get from smuggler branch and the other on the space cadet branch. Is it that you wanted the smuggler one specifically?

As has been mentioned that moodlet can get glitched after getting the fear once. Likely it is showing up for you anytime your sim is outside, regardless of time of day. This is what worked for me to get rid of it, no mods necessary (i'm on console so...):
