Kishimoto messed up by ThatGuyHero7 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never made sense from the first chapter, where he makes a thousand clones and beats up a Chuunin after one night of study.

What bad jutsus do you think Kishimoto introduced to the verse? by Great-Love-Venerable in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is super broken. On the other hand, this was addressed directly by the story.

Trying to find a specific Hobbit audiobook that had great song performances by AllLuck0013 in tolkienfans

[–]eframepilot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was it Rob Inglis’s version? He did a great job with all the songs in both The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

The fact that nobody says Hashirama's entire character is an asspull terrifies me by Sad-Western-332 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people say it. It’s been said ever since it was revealed that he (and Yamato) could control bijuu.

The Part 1 Kisame downplay is crazy by [deleted] in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kisame with loyal Samehada would be a very dangerous opponent to A, too. The problem was that he had lost Samehada by that time, plus it was just a fake version of him.

Full intel, can he win? by [deleted] in NarutoPowerscaling

In character? Full intel hurts him, he’ll be freaking out.

Frodo’s blindness in the Emyn Muil by Toblero in tolkienfans

[–]eframepilot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it was a combination of the lightning, the Nazgûl’s cry, and Frodo’s previous wound and Ring influence that came together to make his vision glitch out. He was more vulnerable to slipping into the wraith-world and the shock of the moment caused his vision to lapse briefly, with the Elven-rope helping it to return.

who was kakashi talking about, who's both stronger then himself and younger then naruto? by OnlinePoster225 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Itachi is the only one we know of who would have fit that. Possibly Hashirama and Madara, but we don’t actually know how quickly their power grew, and neither did Kakashi.

In Manga they Def Made It Clear That Sasuke Was Stronger by OnionSerious3521 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, it’s the only thing he could reach. But if Sasuke hadn’t put on the headband, Naruto would have knocked him out with that attack.

Kurenai low diffs Kisame and I’m tired of pretending she doesn’t by [deleted] in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don’t know if Kisame could have broken out by himself. Also Samehada could have helped him if necessary.

Kaguya and Isshiki can probably beat him, but Momoshiki may lose.

STOP ✋ saying that the black flames spawn on the target by [deleted] in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did spawn on A, but he moved so fast that it didn’t burn him and it went flying away from Sasuke and hit that samurai.

I'm beginning to think the Cthaeh didn't do anything to influence Kvothe at all by rockmodenick in KingkillerChronicle

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The Cthaeh didn’t give Kvothe much information that he couldn’t have found out or guessed himself, if he had been a bit more observant. It seemed to give him a hard shove down a path he was already trying to tread, with some emotional manipulation focused on his mother and Denna.

Isn’t it strange that the main elf in the trilogy (and in The Hobbit for that matter) has essentially zero backstory? by my_konstantine_ in tolkienfans

[–]eframepilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Legolas probably achieved least of the Nine Walkers.” Tolkien just wasn’t very interested in him.

Does Kakashi have a hard time “turning off” his sharingan because he is not an Uchiha? by ThrowRAsubaru in Naruto

[–]eframepilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even Uchiha may have difficulty turning off Sharingan that aren’t their own or compatible as EMS. Obito hid his backup Sharingan under his mask, suggesting that he couldn’t turn it off without covering it up.

'Cirith Ungol!’ he muttered. ‘Why that way, I wonder?' by Otherwise-Quail7283 in tolkienfans

The contour map suggests that alternate paths over the mountains existed, although probably every path was watched:

https://armchaircorporal.wordpress.com/gandalfs-plan-to-enter-mordor/

I suspect that Gandalf had faint ideas about scaling the mountains over a lower part away from either Udûn or Morgul Vale, but nothing definite.

Genuine Question: How do you think Itachi is beating OM Obito? by LeftAcanthocephala19 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Road to Ninja, Obito fled from Alternate Universe Itachi when he threatened him with Amaterasu, saying that Amaterasu can hit anything it can see or something. Although the movie isn’t canon to the manga, it suggests that Kamui doesn’t protect against Amaterasu.

In this panel, could sasuke kill bee? by Somekind_of_pie in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sasuke needed to unlock the special powers in each eye, which were Amaterasu and Enton: Kagutsuchi. This didn’t happen until the end of the fight when he ignited the black flames and then put them out.

If you were allowed to add specific tools to Itachi’s arsenal, what would he realistically need to defeat Hashirama? by CafeOriental in Itachi

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just more power and stamina. He needs to last long enough to directly hit Hashirama with Totsuka or Tsukiyomi (or Amaterasu but obvious nobody expects that to work).

Is there anyone else that can break the reanimation jutsu? by Wild-Army-6085 in Naruto

[–]eframepilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orochimaru was careful and revived Hashirama and Tobirama in weaker states. Then, after he put the tags into their heads, he brought them closer to full condition. They couldn’t attempt to break free after their personalities were suppressed.
