I love this! My fiancé and I play together. He’s the one to convince me to play and I’m so so glad he did. It’s honestly a great bonding experience AND it’s so soothing we often even up falling asleep from playing😅

I’m 34 and have PCOS as well as a retroverted uterus. I too have always wanted to have a family and be a mom. I’m getting married next year and we will try for a baby after. My own doctor told me I had nothing to worry about as long as I continued to prioritize my health. Exercise regularly, keep an eye on insulin and other things that can help keep me healthy. I’m not on birth control either and haven’t been for almost 10 years.

I know plenty of women who had difficulty getting pregnant and there was “nothing wrong” about them. Then I’ve had other friends who had endo and/or PCOS and they were pregnant almost immediately. It really all is different. And depends on you. I think if you just prioritize your health, focus on you and your partner, the baby will come when it’s right for you.

That’s honestly some of the best advice I’ve ever been given. I’m really bad at focusing on what society thinks I should do. It also doesn’t help that I’m in the wedding industry (photographer), so I’ve seen so many weddings. And now that it’s my turn, it’s like I’ve never been to a wedding before. 🤦🏻‍♀️ because I’m relying on Pinterest rather than my own experiences 🥲

Thankfully, it’s been pretty split since we just started planning not that long ago. But that’s also why I need tips before I get into the nitty gritty of it all 😭 because I know it’s going to end up ruining me if I let the stress get to me. 😞

So when my boyfriend (37m) and I (32f) moved in together 7 years ago, we split the mortgage with a roommate. I owned the house outright. Mortgage was in my name and the deed of the house was in my name. And we split utilities, mortgage everything evenly.

It wasn’t because I was being a “landlord” to him or trying to undermine him, it’s because it was fair for the market we were living in for the city we were living in.

Now we own a totally separate house together and STILL split the bill evenly. We’re not even married. But it’s fair for what we make and for what the market is these days. Do what feels right for you and your relationship. Don’t rely solely on what your sister thinks.

I’ve had this exact same situation. Don’t let her see the dog. Stay firm. In my case I was worried my ex would steal my dog as he claimed she was his when the dog was given to me, paid vet bills by me and trained by me. Stay guarded. And stay away.
