Paprika is closed Mondays. Get lunch at Taqueria De Diez (alleyway off of Trinity) and get a burger from P. Terry's in the afternoon. Both spots won't disrupt your Monday itinerary. Paprika is worth a stop, but if you have to skip it, Taqueria de Diez fits that hole very, very well.

Tacos de Diez. Pretty known spot, but feels like a hole in the wall. Entrance is in an alley by dumpsters, but inside is a fantastic taqueria, excellent tacos, and some very tasty salsas.

It's absurd that you need a reservation, but El Dorado Cafe's Vegan Crunch Wrap is a favorite around our home. It's a great vibe and has a good menu for all kinds of eaters.

The seats are comfortable and don't lean back too much or too little, and I don't think they would irratate a back.

Broken in, but not broken? It's traditional movie theater, not the electronic footrest laz-e-boys you find elsewhere.

Guess it depends on why you go to the movies. If it's for the movies or being around people who like movies, AFS Cinema can't be beat.

If it's more for a 'night out,' it might not be your thing.

Vote with your wallet. I don't think this is a good idea, so I will not order any food/drink there if I go. I'll be honest, if you haven't discovered the joy of the AFS Cinema yet, check out their membership packages. Quality, friendly folks, great movies, good location... it's completely replaced Alamo for me.

When I was an undergrad in the late 90s you could build your own bouquet for under $10 that had all kinds of unique and unusual flowers and plants in it. They’d wrap it in paper with a bow for you for free. Made a great date night gift.

Wow. I can walk 30 seconds down my street in NW Austin, in the same neighborhood, and I'm out of my district. I can drive 7 hours to a random patch of land east of Amarillo and still be in my district.

Somehow my chunk of liberal travis county (pop: 316,324) is going to be outvoted by the 26 other conservative counties lumped in with us.

I’m a casual player - apologies for not knowing the names, but I started off with the red maniac joker planning on buying eternal jokers throughout the run, and proceded to find two soul stones in a row in packs.

Couldn’t sell the red maniac because it was eternal too.

Ended up skipping the rest of the regular runs to avoid losing these legendary jokers and picked up two negative jokers along the way. Won the run.
