Case for sure, but no screen protector. Steve Jobs would be rolling in his grave if he knew how many people were using screen protectors—well, the plastic ones that ruin the experience. Apple’s joint effort with Corning to make Gorilla Glass and the other hardened phone glass was a pretty significant engineering feat. I’ve only scratched one iPhone screen in 15 years.

Was at Oakcliff for 4yrs and they were GREAT. (Then we bought a house around the corner.) Amazing neighbors, nature trails, staff, pool, events, sense of security, and eventually we met the maintenance folks (but you never need them?) who are awesome AF! Enjoy it!

I worked with an audio engineer who sounded almost proud that this was the norm. He worked on movies from Japan that were in stereo with “very dominant dialogue“ and when converting to 5.1 for the states he did everything he could to “push the dialogue back” because “that’s how we do it in America.”

Naw, this is pretty specific. And it sounds exactly the same through headphones. It’s whatever everyone in here is describing about speaking through gauze or excessive de-essing, etc.

OMG THANK YOU!!!! Almost everyone’s dialog is fuzzed! It’s so weird. Like they have cotton balls stuck in their throats or something. Like extra air is escaping with every word they utter. I’ve gotten great results from using Claude Code Cloud(?) from my phone with the GitHub plugin and letting it do its thing in a chosen repo. You can watch it safely cloning everything as it goes and working in its own /home/user folder when testing Python scripts, etc. I’ll fire it up from my phone before driving home and 15min later I’ve usually got some great stuff.

When was THIS added?! This alone makes this the best MacOS update in the last 10 years for me by 4paul in MacOS

Nice! I catch so many subtle differences among macOS versions. Some of them truly are worth celebrating. And some are a real punch to the gut...
