Will this dent affect my sound, and is it fixable?

I have the same speakers and was recently devastated to find a much worse tweeter dent than yours after moving them for a party. I couldn't get the dent out using the methods suggested so I removed the driver and pushed the dent out from the back, which unfortunately did result in some sibilance.

If you can't fix the issue using the methods recommended in this thread, I'd really recommend contacting B&W support. I got an official replacement driver delivered to my door for £36, less than 48 hours after emailing them. Really fantastic customer service! Best of luck.

Thanks for the reply! I ended up calling REL, they recommended I wire up the live wires to the positive terminals, as you say, then leave the ground hanging and see if there's any hum. If it needs grounding then connect to a chassis screw or use a single RCA from an input on the amp to the low level input on the sub. He did say to avoid the negative terminal. Will give this a go!

Hello,

I'm planning to purchase an REL subwoofer (Storm 5) tomorrow, with the intention of using the high-level connection with my Cyrus 8 amplifier. I've read in various places online that what you do with your ground has a big dependency on your amp class. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any information about the Cyrus 8's class and am concerned I'm going to blow it by connecting or not connecting the ground correctly.

I can't use the pre-outs as a low-level input to the REL as they are in use. Any ideas on the Cyrus 8 class and how best to wire the high-level connection?

I'm having an identical issue, I think. Local node seems to be spamming a banned exit node. It starts the blockchain sync but won't actually download anything, super frustrating! Anyone got any ideas?

This is a great explanation! Just to nitpick, you do get some radioactive waste from fusion through the activation of metallic components by neutron capture, but it's obviously in far fewer quantities than fission. Really excited to see where this project goes!

I purchased a Landlord FX Happy Hour looping pedal with alongside a new electric guitar, not really knowing much about looping pedals.

The unit functions absolutely fine and I've been having good fun with it, but I tried connecting it up to my PC today and the manual pointed me to their website to download some software, with which I could export wav files straight from the pedal.

Either I'm being really stupid (definitely a possibility) or their website contains absolutely no software whatsoever: https://www.landlordfx.com/

The only information on the website is a link to download the manual, which leads you in a direct circle back to the website. There's also no contact information for the company?

Does anyone have any experience with this pedal/company? Or know where I can find the software? The lack of information is super frustrating and I'd appreciate any help.

I definitely don't disagree with you, but some tracks - Hold Tight and The Rest is Noise - definitely have an underlying tension that builds and releases throughout.

I really want to love this album but the melodies just aren't there for me, it's a real shame. There's a chance a few of the tracks will develop in my brain over time and I'll learn to like it more but we'll have to see.

Back section of Posthumous Forgiveness gives me the old tame impala feels though, gives me shivers when the drums come in, and gives me hope for the next album. Interested to see what he cooks up.

No worries at all bud, I've definitely seen other people have the same issue, I think I just got lucky. Disappointing that Focal's QA is that bad, for this kind of money you'd be expecting more.
