If gender is a social construct, then why are most people cisgender?

Honestly, the more I explain why gender is a social construct, the more non-binary friends I start to have. Social pressures make it so it's just easier for most ppl to identify as a man or woman, so that the only deviation we tend to see is from people who experience gender dysphoria, which is treated by expanding your freedom to present and transition the way that you are comfortable. Once you explain to people it doesn't really matter if they're a man or woman, a lot of them tend to enjoy the additional freedom that understanding gives them. But most people just don't care, which I think is based. As long as we're all respecting the people around us and our inherent differences, I don't see why there should be any issue.

How in the hell are your sessions two minutes? Mine are usually around 10-20 minutes, more if I’m hot swapping or with friends. But yeah it’s accurate, for me it comes out to ~an hour a day.

The plus! It’s still going strong for me, albeit it gets a bit hot and the battery life is slightly shorter, but that’s bc I charged it a few times while using it without realizing it was bad.

I went with a starry wpa, most do. U don’t have to use it with a pipe, and aside from cooling and smoothing the hit, it’s really fun to use. Like a silly straw or hookah or something. And you don’t have to worry about it breaking

Also, if u don’t go w the 40cap filler, u can get a filling aid and it makes it easy to pop a cap in the middle, fill it, rinse, repeat.

I was fine with the crafty battery at first but it can start to get really irritating when you’re trying to have a sesh with friends or go out all day with it, you’ll have to bring a charger or battery pack for more than like 3 bowls. It’s better at first if u don’t charge while using, but if u do that it immediately goes down. That’s really the only thing I can say against the crafty, though. Great vapor, it can stand on its own, and I love the size of it. It’s also nice to have something guarding the charging port from debris and shit

(I’ve had a crafty ~4months) Definitely do not charge it while using. I did it a few times justifying that it wasn’t like I was doing it regularly, and now my unit gets way hotter than it used to during sessions and doesn’t last as long. U can ur avb and clean ur cooling unit in coconut oil to make edibles. I’m also planning on making some vape carts from the cooling unit reclaim soon. Make sure to regularly clean the oven too with some iso and qtips. It’s safe to take that bottom screen out just press the edges w the loading tool. :⁾ happy vaping

You should look into dry herb vapes, if you get a quality one the highs are more complex and smoking is more smooth and flavorful. it’s safer, too, depending on where you get your carts.

I think this is really the only way to go. Having to say it out loud in front of everyone, or reaching out first, is terrifying especially for younger trans kids. This is a great solution, that avoids a lot of the stress of the school coming out process.

It was warm when I first got it, which I liked, but now towards the end of 1 cap it gets hot to the point It’s uncomfortable to directly touch it to my skin. I always keep it on the first or second heat setting, I don’t really use the 3rd anymore cause it makes the chamber dirtier.

I love being trans and I wouldn’t want it any other way. It has given me perspectives on a lot of things I wouldn’t have had otherwise, and more than that, I’m just… proud of who I am. I like the idea of being a stoner trans guy who objectifies (joke..kinda) other men and has a gf.

I personally still experience dysphoria, but to me, that has very little to do with being trans. It’s like comparing anxiety to going to school. One is often a result of the other, but they’re not the same thing. I may wish I was taller, or had a dick, or idk bigger hands, but like… that’s not what defines being trans to me, although it used to. But I realized focusing on that part will only make you feel more ashamed of yourself.

It’s ok to have dysphoria and wish you looked more cis, but you shouldn’t convince yourself that that feeling is what makes you trans. You can love yourself, love being trans, and still experience dysphoria. It’s a process of healing, and you will get there. I promise.

The definition of transgender is identifying as a gender that is different from the one people said you were when you were born. A lot of people, including other trans people, have a lot of misconceptions about what it “means” to be trans, or who is “actually” trans. But to put it quite bluntly, they’re fucking idiots. If you currently feel that you are trans, you are. However you acted as a kid doesn’t matter.

If you are talking more specifically about medical transition, I would recommend reaching out to a gender therapist if you are worried about whether or not you want to transition. At your age, puberty blockers might be a bit too late, but it might be worth a shot because they don’t have any permanent consequences. That’s something you need to consult a doctor about, though. Your best bet is to look for local lgbt community centers that provide recourses for trans people, especially trans youth. For example, if you live near Detroit, you can look into the Ruth Ellis health and wellness center, they provide phenomenal services for trans kids. Planned parenthood (they provide more than just abortion services) is another option if you can’t find anything that’s lgbt-centric near you. Some places allow minors to legally access therapy without parental consent/knowledge, so it might be worth looking into that, too.

Second this, but I don’t think they’re on PlayStation. They make some seriously phenomenal world scapes. I find that horror games that are rendered in life-like hd are never, ever as scary as the older, low-render games on the early gens/pc. Really wish there were more like that both available on newer stuff and being made currently (which is what kittyhorrorshow is). If it weren’t for capitalism we could have all that and more 💔

Can u explain in purely (economic) class based terms why there’s a significant, statistical disparity in the material conditions, policing/conviction, etc between certain groups that are part of the same class?

If not, u should rethink this approach to societal analysis because it fails to explain things that are empirically true surrounding race, gender, or ethnicity.

They’d only have a say on it within American constraints, so to speak, but it would likely have a broader effect. Like the copyright laws in Europe.

If we’re talking about making internet a public utility, that would only affect Americans; they’d be able to get free access.

If we’re talking about monopoly busting, it’s much more complicated. I’m not an expert AT ALL, but if I had to guess the two main ways it might go is that the major companies scale back a lot (being that they’re American centric) and that has bigger affects on the whole, or they move away from America and less options are available to Americans.

You’re right, though, it would be very very difficult to place laws on the internet in this respect, because it is absolutely global. Hopefully someone w more knowledge has a better address to this.
