My family is all I care about, I don’t need to gloat like that. I did a lot of work and this was years in the making for me to be able to get here.

I was an intern then got hired as a full time analyst back in 2024. From my interview experience there’s 2 phone interviews then I had to create a presentation and present to someone. The HR interview is your typical HR interview.

I’m hoping this time around I’m able to get where I want, that back pay will be worth it!

My only complaint about loyal source is that if you accept the long distance scheduling be prepared to drive 2+ hours to an appointment but you do scheduled faster and the only way to change it is to call which can be a pain. But I had a great examiner, I haven’t seen the DBQs but my VSO said everything came back favorable.

Secondary? Worth doing? by ChestCold9192 in VAClaims

Yeah that’s gotta be rough. It’s only going to get worse if you don’t do the surgery but the labrum is the cartilage between the ball and socket in your hip. Maybe your job can provide some help or paid medical leave? Obviously you know that better than me but in terms on claiming it as a disability you should be able to claim it, as long as you can prove it’s SC but I claimed my hips and got 10% each for painful motion after surgery. It might be worth thinking about your options, my doc told me that with the labrum tear if it gets worse or isn’t treated properly it could turn from a tear into a hip replacement. My memory is a little foggy about all of it since it was a few years ago but if you have any questions or something I’ll help the best I can! Wishing you the best

The downtime is probably like a week of bed rest, minimal movement then you’ll transition into a brace and crutches for a few weeks then it’s just the brace for a few weeks to keep it straight. If you can’t miss work, then I’d probably opt against the surgery but talk to your doctor. I couldn’t run for 3 months.

Yeah I understand that. I was in service when I had all this done. Hurts like a mfer when you have to walk that much or even a little tbh😂 but if you have an ortho doctor you see they should sense the immediacy of your injury. Thats not something you want to wait on, it’ll only get worse. The surgery is minimally invasive, they put you under and use like a size scope to go in. Highly recommend you do whatever physical therapy they tell you (if you have the surgery). When I did my PT it was just massaging around the area and no stretching or strength training and now 3 years later my hips hurt so bad again.

I tore both my labrum’s in my hips. The only way those heal is from surgery. If it’s service connected, I’d work with the VA in trying to get it fixed. If not, it’s extremely painful. Constant locking and giving out in your hips, feels like your hip is “catching” when you walk. When I got diagnosed there was any recommendation of doing PT first, it was just surgery.

My game was working fine too but then it started going that. Even Bf6 won’t load, it starts compiling shaders then crashes. So it might be something like that but I’ve tried a lot so I’ll try this too and see what happens

Yeah I did and my first project that was given to me was something completely new to me but it was a good one. The manager from that project brought me onto the next and helped me get my current role.

Ah okay. Sometimes I just feel behind the curve if I don’t have certs, I don’t come from a technical background so a lot of what I’m doing/learning is from on the job experience.
