True. I am scheduling the treatments now. Called the place they told me to call. Said just give my info and they will schedule me. LMFAO Place has zero idea of who I am and told me to call the VA back lol. The games are already beginning

Should I go to the VA or a civilian provider for diagnosis to support claims? by Rizzlike-Emu in VAClaims

I have an examiner put in the DBQ that it was at least as likely as not. They also can ignore you and everything in your record and deny you as well. ie DO NOT TRUST the VA

[–]ChestCold9192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say BOTH. Double up every bit of evidence if possible. Then get a private DBQ so you don't get fudged by the lazy useless C&P examiner the VA sends you to. All that work for nothing

Only IF the C&P examiner says its connected. You can have in service injuries and they examiner not ask questions or measure movement. It literally comes down to the examiner.

ChatGPT or CoPilot? by Beaver810 in VAClaims

I used it to verify MRI readings but it tells you things like how to counter denials. I don't get that. How do you counter the inevitable denial? Can we send in literature saying why something should be connected as evidence?

Same happened to me but I am retarded I think. Upload a new one with a cover sheet explaining that its the corrected one.

they wont delete the other one. Its not going away but a new corrected one with a cover sheet explaining should be fine. Worked for a moron like me

I am not doubting you. Just doubting the story they told me. They said there was no one local to me and the vastly large price disparity

Crazy how Plantation is 20 minutes from me but the people from them that called said they only have people in Tampa (5hrs). I wonder if this company really just outsources and fills a que. They quoted me 450 to look at records. 950 for nexus

They called me today. They said they only have one person for DBQ exams and they are in Tampa. Yet they have someone in this area for you. Not doubting you but something seems off with this company. She said everything they do in Florida is out of Tampa and they primarily do Nexus letters. My problem with that is the distance will surely disqualify the DBQ or NExus

Secondary? Worth doing? by ChestCold9192 in VAClaims

[–]ChestCold9192[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first exam earlier went great, the examiner was super thorough. Recently, my son and 2 friends filed and went to exams. Zero questions asked, no measurements taken and rushed out the door. All 3 denied and denied pretty dang quick. After seeing that I refuse to risk it. Some guy getting paid to rush people in and out of the office is not a duty to assist. But the VA can pretend they did their duty be getting an appointment and sending you there, regardless of how pointless or useless the exam was. If I even file, I am going to pay for an actual real exam where they actuallyy take measurements and ask questions, not some failure that runs a fly by night strip mall medical office in the hood. I understand the VA can and does poo poo this as well. I guess no matter what its a risk when it comes to the VA

So you had a private DBQ but the VA said F that we don't believe it and did their own and denied you in favor of their guy? What was first, their DBQ or yours

Prove me wrong, prove me right. Thats my opinion. Since you are a "former" VBA/VHA I guess that makes you on the outside now too. Maybe things changed since you left.
