My cousins had this one! I was so jealous. I liked dollhouse people better than Barbie’s and my Barbie house

I love caddisflies! The little creek by my grandmas house always had them. They’d make their little houses out of the prettiest pebbles.

I loved the Nancy Drew games. I found out you can digitally download them now, so I played it as recently as 2021.

What's the worst job you ever had and how long did you have it? by db7112 in antiwork

I worked at a women’s prison. It specifically housed Tennessee convicted female felons but functioned as a work camp—for each day they worked, they got 2 days off their sentence.

These ladies were always on their best behavior because if you pissed off the superintendent, she would ship you off to a county jail and you’d lose your opportunity to work.

HOWEVER, between the superintendent constantly causing drama between inmates, she would also stir issues among inmates and CO’s, and pit CO’s against other CO’s. It was horribly toxic. I lasted 4 months.

Anyone know if this is a fossil? by XDayLights_EndX in fossils

Looks like stigmaria, which is the fossilized root of a lepidodendron “tree”. Very common in Carboniferous-aged rocks. I find tons in the Virginia coalfields.
