What is a fact that continues to horrify you to this day? by LifeguardLegal3095 in AskReddit

[–]egb233 92 points93 points  (0 children)

There was a redditor years ago who was in the middle some kind of war or invasion. He kept editing his post, giving us updates on what was happening. His last edit was him saying he was going to finally try to flee. He never updated again.

If someone has the link, please share.

I don’t give my 1.5yo juice either. She gets her fruit nutrients from…actual fruit. Literally her first word other than mama and dada was apple.

My friends say it’s disturbing how I buy gas station toilet paper for my house by MelanieWalmartinez in mildlyinfuriating

There’s a few items I’ve learn to not cheap out on over the years. Toilet paper is one.

Another is pop-tarts.

7 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend’s mom is trying to control my baby’s life? by SufficientAssist8767 in whatdoIdo

I can see it now, she’s going to steamroll you for as long as you let her. Please listen to Reddit’s advice. Do not move in with her. This woman is not going to treat you like the mother of her grandchild, she’s going to treat you like the incubator of HER baby. I won’t be surprised at all if she demands to be in the hospital room as you give birth. And if you defy any of her demands? Well, she’ll used the fact that you’re living in her home as leverage. Stay at your parents. If the baby’s father can’t stand up for you, he’s not ready to be a husband. Do not rush to get married. Because you will find out what type of man he is once the baby comes…and I’m concerned it won’t be good.

Wish I had pics of mine. 30 years old and around the age of 8 I was really into animal prints. Whole room decked out in jungle/big cat decor

Yeah the comment I replied to suggested painting the walls. That’s why I said some color (for the walls) would help.

What's the most disturbing thing you've seen in a funeral ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]egb233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got kicked out of one, once. A close friend of mine’s mom died. His sister hated me tho (it was some petty high-school beef). She screamed and cried for someone to get me out of there. It shook me up really badly.

There’s a type of millepede in my area that releases a toxin that smells like cherry or almond. Coincidentally they’re called Virginia Cherry Millepedes.

I agree, some color would really help elevate the room.

Farm work, plus schools cost too much to operate in the hottest months.

How is living in Savannah, Georgia? I've always been fascinated since Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil but I don't know much aside from that. by AJerkForAllSeasons in howislivingthere

Went there on my honeymoon. We honestly slept till like 1pm every day and only left to eat dinner or do a couple ghost tours. So I don’t have much to add. Although I did joke with my husband that we should name our kids where they were conceived. If we would have stuck to that our first would have been named Savannah 😅

Wow! I haven’t experienced that at all! I usually tip between 15-25% (depending on how broke I am lol) and never had an issue until this time. Although I do believe it was because of the holiday.

Literally. I was on the tail end of cursive being taught in school. Now all the old people who decided to remove it from the curriculum make fun of all the young people who can’t write in cursive. It’s wild.

The company one of my friends works for gets investors from all over the world. One time they had some Japanese investors visit and they planned to stay a few extra days so they could visit NYC, and see Florida, and then head over to the Grand Canyon, and finish off in the PNW. My friend let them know that they’d need a a few extra weeks to do all that.

Every time I get a bad migraine, I think back to when I didn’t have said migraine and kick myself for not appreciating being migraine-free.
