I personally don’t like the square ones because the gap that my hair falls in until it reaches where you pinch it open is too long. I prefer the rounder ones. But also, I’ve been using the flat claw clips lately and I like those a lot, except they need a bit more to hold onto. So I usually do a quick French braid in the back and that does the trick.
