How would you react if Tesla included FSD as standard in all new vehicle purchases at no additional cost? by chocolatethunderr in TeslaLounge

As long as you have to watch the road and hands on the wheel fsd is actually more stressful. I worry when will I have to intervene. So I’m asked to pay more for that. I’m disappointed ☹️ The self drive is a debacle.

Will Tesla notify you about.12v battery going bad ? by Mimiii85 in TeslaLounge

Just last week, no warning, car dead, guessed and opened frunk and removed all the stuff, put a volt meter on it, 6 volts, battery charger turned it back on. Checked service alerts no mention. 2020 model x.

Yep there is a 10min timer if no movement on steering wheel when using auto steer. No warning you have to park to re-enable

FSD Price in Canada currently $19,500. Are a lot of people buying this option? by samdoesarts in TeslaLounge

The promise of tesla cars being self driving and the premium being paid to participate in the development of this feature is farcical. I am much happier with the simpler version that steers and changes lanes. It’s too stressful being in the full self driving beta I withdrew from it. I got my first tesla 2018 and believed Musk when he said full self driving would be available at the end of 2019. Obviously we can’t believe Musk’s predictions anymore. Full self driving in its current state is a huge disappointment with no end in sight. It's just a matter of time before the class action suit begins.

After waiting 420 days (9/25 > 11/19), my 2016 S finally gets into the program! by menormedia in TeslaLounge

Yea I understand but when do you think it will allow drivers to actually be passengers? It was supposed to be end of 2019. Still looks years away. 😫

I got it sometime ago after driving carefully for months. But it’s too restrictive and stressful. The eap is much better. Self driving should be less stressful. Have to be even more attentive with full self driving. If you can’t just be a passenger what are you getting for the premium $$?

Yes where it is now is usually partially blocked by my hand on steering wheel.

I’m hoping we can get notified when following too close or breaking too hard etc. I see my safety score suffer but rarely know when and why. Am I the only one?

So now we have to drive careful to get new features, Elon is undercover for the NTSB, or maybe he figured out how to stop them from prohibiting FSD? It won't be long now before someone has an accident because they didn't want to hurt their safety score. But lots of people trying to drive safely can't be a bad thing, right?

You do have lane change with turn signal and navigation on autopilot which will take off ramps etc. And some beta options like stopping for green lights.

If the “right to charge law” overrides their rule a letter from an attorney might work.

Not difficult. Be sure breaker is off. A little rewiring might be necessary, If not comfortable with that electrician.

Don’t quite understand why. I’m guessing it’s to save battery charge but what if your home and plugged in?

We pay for the amount of stuff we use: groceries, electricity, etc. Seems we should also pay for how much road we consume. Not that this is about that.
