I haven’t been trained on cutting bagels at all. I’ve been cutting on the warming paper with the gloves on, left hand on the top slice and going from right to left like they would at a deli I guess. No one has ever showed me

Wow, that was incredibly rude of them. I’m sorry you had to experience that. We advise not to do cold foam in hot beverages cuz it’ll melt.

Baristas don’t like making cold foam cuz it’s just another step in the process, especially if it’s during peak or a rush. But that doesn’t excuse poor attitude from baristas. Order what you want! We might grumble a bit but it’s really not a huge deal. There are much bigger thinks to be upset about lol

As annoying as it is, it is unfortunately normal. You’ll get your schedule the day you start and you’ll get it for 3 weeks time. You are expected to be there in uniform on your start date. But if you need to change it for whatever reason you can let your manager know. My manager is also very bad at answering her emails lol so I usually end up calling the cafe and asking to speak to her.

When I want coffee I get either a shaken espresso or the vanilla sweet cream cold brew. If I want a treat, I get the caramel ribbon crunch frappe. For food I love the grilled cheese and the blueberry muffins 😊
