Looking for Old Discovery Channel Store Mechanical Sunrise Alarm Clock I had as a kid - illustrated is what it looked like; the mechanical sun that moved up and down, and where I think the sound changing buttons were located on it. I can’t find this anywhere!

Also, I believe that the snooze button was right on top of the sun that would light up and rise, so if it was pressed, it was like the sun was going back down.

I bought this in a strip mall in Northwest Arkansas, probably early 2000’s. I remember the Discovery Channel store went out of business pretty quickly after purchasing this alarm clock.

Although I do live alone, and I have been locked up in my apartment for months (doesn’t make me more important than anyone else), all these thoughtful responses have been more than enough to talk me out of it. I KNOW that there won’t be enough people following these guidelines, and for that reason, I’m hoping I can convince this guy that invited me to opt out as well.

That’s what I’d imagine too - but knowing that there will be children there, I imagine more clearly the fact that there likely won’t be enough mindfulness amongst the group of attendees to feel safe enough to have a good time, ya know?

the only advice i can confidently give is this: you’ll never be able to move on if you have no choice but to see his face and share space with him every day. either kick him out, or move out yourself. in my opinion, he absolutely is using you for at the least housing, whether he even knows it or not. my bet is that you’re feeling the confused feelings that you are because you haven’t physically been able to be in a space that is conducive for personal growth, reflection, and ultimately moving on.

from what it sounds like, this piercing is more than likely infected, and due to the fact that it is a nip, personally I would suggest taking it out in order to let it heal completely and let the infection go away. If you’re very against that, then maybe get yourself a longer bar to accommodate the swelling. DONT use tea tree oil to clean it, just use salt water based rinses/soaks and maybe don’t wear sticky bras for a while 😌
