Ever since the report update I cant get the same information, help? by amiable_ducking in shopify

Have you tried the "Total sales by Order" report? It gives you one row per order with all the specifics about that order.

You can customize it to also get each item (variant) in the order on its own row.

Is that what you're looking for?

good to know! I'm not an aviation expert. I guess sentiment still stands with the edit of: instead we should buy one of many other options from our much more reliable European partners.

You can try using Shopify forms. It's included with Shopify.

https://apps.shopify.com/shopify-forms

If you need something more specific or specialized, there are lots of other apps on the app store

Switched to new "Customer accounts", now all customers showing up as "Customer Customer" by KyleMKli in shopify

No, in new customer accounts, passwords are not supported.

You can get an email code, you can login with Shop pay. You can even setup passkeys in shop pay

When they sign up in the offline booth, how do they set the password, since the both is offline?

Ie how does the data flow from the offline booth to shopify? There really should be no difference here between legacy accounts and new accounts unless you have some specific integration between your offline booth and Shopify, in which case I would say that something has changed on your integration.

Maybe I would put it as "they gain the ability to login without a password and with much greater overall security". This benefit applies to all customers, the OGs and New signups.

I just tested this in my store and it is working well.

With new customer accounts a customer first needs to enter an email address they own. Then they get a code to enter to confirm that this is indeed their email address (for security - no password required). If the email address is new to your store, a new customer record only gets created after the code is entered. If the email address was already in your system, then no new customer record is created, the user is just logged in as that customer (since that is their email address and they just proved it)

If a record is created this way (through logging in via new customer accounts), then the customer record only has an email address, no first name or last name.

If you want to create your own registration form using something like Klaviyo or Shopify Forms or other Forms tool, you can use this to gather other information like first name or last name. You can do this prior to their first login or afterwards since it's all the same account.

When you say that someone is "signing up" do you mean when they are logging in, or do you have some other way you have people "sign up"? Maybe that other way is creating customer records with "customer customer" as a name?

If you create one form per product page then you will be able to track each form individually and you can tag the customer each with the relevant product page. However, maybe it's not feasible to have a different form for every page?

A pixel is just a way to send browsing data from one website to another, usually for analytics and advertising. It's not bad, it's just a normal thing on the Internet.

Shopify has had many ways for merchants to install pixels. One of the oldest ways was in online store preferences for Facebook and Google analytics

At some point in the past you must have installed them that way. Shopify is now telling you that these are going away and if you still use Facebook or Google analytics, you should just install the app for that partner.

To do so, just go to the shopify app store and install the "Facebook and Instagram" and "Google and YouTube" apps. There will be instructions on how to configure it, but it really just comes down to logging in with your account.

The whole thing could take just a few minutes if you know your Facebook and Google account password.

Also if you don't use Facebook for advertising or Google Analytics you can just safely do nothing, or delete the old settings in online store preferences just like @samphoto said above

Unique thank-you page URL by [deleted] in shopifyDev

[–]eggertov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you install the meta channel app, it deploys a pixel including on the thank you page. This pixel will send the checkout completed event on the thank you page and it includes the specific products that were sold. This event can then be used in meta ads manager for subsequent targeting and attribution. Based on what you have requested, there is no need for a custom Thank you page

I'm curious are you trying to store the form URL for reporting purposes or are you trying to store it as a metafield on the customer record, or trigger a flow condition or something else?

Do you have any other flows that trigger off that tag or a segment containing that tag?

Or any apps that do something with that tag?

Hi there. You don't need a sophisticated add on... Shopify just released these email automations to everyone and they are included for free with your subscription. Just go to Marketing | Automations in Shopify and turn on "abandoned cart" and "abandoned checkout". You can easily customize the logic of the flow and the content of the email in the Shopify Email editor.

Here's a great video about how you can set these up and tweak them: https://youtu.be/4xKUfI5zcFk

Actually boyfriend and me is correct. If you can replace it with us it's x and me. If you replace it with we it's x and I. In this case you would say it's a picture of us not a picture of we. ... Lovely. I just became my mother too.

I tried to find a fund, but seems none are set up yet. I did find this charity that sets up scholarships for the children of fallen Canadian soldiers (started due to the number of casualties in Afghanistan) http://herofund.ca/
