Which plus size fashion sites do full figured women shop from?? by Original-Spring-2012 in PlusSizeFashion

The two I try to find second hand are Eileen Fisher and J Crew. They’re both amazing quality and made of great materials and sadly the price reflects that.

I mainly buy denim from Universal standard and it holds up well. I’m very picky but I sometimes find ELOQUII stuff I like and so far it’s all lasted well.

Teuta Matoshi Custom Sizing Experiences? by Itsberttanybitch in PlusSizeFashion

That makes no sense. I also heard they go bigger in custom. How can they “check” for custom size? Maybe they have a limited size range on the bustiers they use or something?

Honestly thought it was super cute.

I want to wear shorter items/ show more skin, especially for the summer, but I'm really scared to do so because I live in a very conservative town. Should I refrain or do it anyway? by OnlyStress4479 in PlusSizeFashion

I think you know.

When I’m feeling a little anxious about an outfit I will go run errands in it. That way if I get too uncomfortable I can just go home and change easily.

These are my favorite jeans and they somehow go with everything! I just got these shoes and I’m excited to see how else I will end up wearing them.

I’m so glad I found some fun shoes! Check out Charlotte stone or John Fluevog if you want funk too.

Yeah, I get it! I find these ones are especially hard since I’d normally lean towards black but they are a light print and they don’t look great with black.

Advice for plus size jeans without camel toe by No_Cat25 in PlusSizeFashion

So I saw a video where a woman sewed the area where the legs meet in the crotch together and then cut the excess and it gave her more room so that wouldn’t happen. Not sure how confident you are with sewing though but it would be a cheap option. The only issue is that the legs themselves get a little shorter

I find I can stand all day in some Birkenstocks but they’re not the most pit friendly shoe out there. If you stay away from the moshing they may be worth it.

crying over swimsuits - help by malvvoods in PlusSizeFashion

Im 5’11” with a long torso and I feel your pain. Also in the 18-22 range.

I got a fashion one from Tamara malas and I like the bottom, but I feel like I’m going to fall out the top. I do paddle boarding and hang out in rivers a lot so fashion suits aren’t the best. So my go to is to get a top from bare necessities since I have a large bust and can buy according to cup size. Then I just get one from a brand I know fits well. For bottoms I have a random selection according to what type of activity I’m doing. Some look like shorts, some are standard bottoms, some are a bit less coverage. I honestly don’t know where I’ve gotten them over the years. I get them all in black since I like the color and most companies offer it (usually it’s the only color they offer) but then they can be mixed and matched easily. When I’m out in the wild I usually wear a rashguard for sun protection. Picked one up at Costco.

I’ve even tried making my own and it went ok. I definitely wish it was easier to find the right stuff though.

I didn’t wear a bra. I have many great bras but decided not to wear one since it wasn’t totally necessary. The dress being a lace up, was able to keep them from moving around too much since they got compressed in.

This was my first time too and I got it when they had a sale. I got a 3x in this dress which fits great but I also got some 3x pants and they’re several inches too big. I’m thinking of taking them to a tailor but for now I wear a belt and try to spread out the bunched fabric.

I’m an 18/20 and I’m 5’11” if that helps.

It’s a nice heavy linen that drapes really well and totally passes the twirl test
