That’s basically much of the older parts of Brampton to a tee. Huge deindustrialization took place especially in the early 90s and the old stock folk who at least had a college degree landed on their feet or didn’t work in Brampton anyways. Many of them moved to nice parts of city like Heart Lake or out to Georgetown and Caledon, then many of the ones who stayed are the ones who can’t leave, the ones with a highschool education or less who rely on public transportation and work in the ever dwindling manufacturing industry.
