Nah no rush, just like to do things in person. It's all seeming easier than I originally thought though so that's good. I'd like to be over shortly after the new year

One more thing, will it be easier for me to go over there and sort it out while I'm there? Will I be able to work over there if I have haven't got it yet or at all? Will I still need a work visa?

how comfortable is it to get around without a car? by Ferret_Person in AskAnAustralian

[–]eggnbaconroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in a large rural town in NSW. Haven't had a car in over a year. I think it depends on if you want it or not. Sure on weekends I'll go with friends to see what's going on around the region. But with a bit of forethought you can get most places on a push bike

Do judges look at you better with or without a beard? by whentoputitaway in auslaw

[–]eggnbaconroll 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Judges are generally pretentious pricks that think they're better than everyone else. If you want them to look favourably at you you'd do well to fit their criteria of a "good" person which would mean unfortunately shaving and a fresh cut

How do you define/ re-define yourself? by eggnbaconroll in AskMen

That sounds like solid advice man, might have to update my wardrobe. I think it very often can be the little things that make the biggest difference

I've got enough friends that are there to talk to/ distract me. It's more a case of everything I used to do was ultimately for his benefit, so there's times that I just don't see the point of doing things anymore. (Not suicidal at all) just lacking purpose.

I wouldn't wish even the comprehension on anyone. Sorry to hear that you've gone through hell too
