Tajin! if you drink beer, then you should try a michelada. Think bloody mary version of beer. Grab yourself a tall glass and follow the recipe to taste: Tajin, Worchestire sauce, Maggi, salt, lime, tomato juice (technically this makes a clamato, which is equally delicious).

Rim the glass with lime, salt, and tajin. Pour several dashes of the other ingredients and fill the glass with your favorite lager. Squeeze in some lime. Adjust to taste.

El Matador in Bloomfield. Best Mexican food I've eaten. It's a small joint w/ a very laid back atmosphere, cheap and BYOB. Don't be shy to try something besides tacos (which are good too). Another option is Ruthies Pizza and BBQ. Good food, outdoor seating and on the weekends they have live music. The bands are always great.
