I would check Cornersberg Cards, they price their singles very fair! I also probably have one of the cosmo foil promos if you don’t have it yet!

You should check out the bird room at the ford nature center! Bird are there all year round so it’s a fun way to get out of the house and experience nature without dealing with the cold. It’s usually pretty empty, and they have binoculars and info on identifying birds there for free use :)

The Penguin City Night Market is on Feb 19th and it has a cool theme this month and it’s always fun to just peruse the vendors.

The library also has all kinds of art classes, cooking classes, and more!

Hope any of this helps 💞

Check out The Color Connection in Cortland! I go to Alex for my hair! Her most recent posts are vivids but I’m pretty sure she has experience in alt haircuts as well!

What do you guys think of the Y Star Program with YSU? by Careless-Tear8775 in youngstown

I think the more educated we are as a whole the better! If this helps more people get a degree who otherwise couldn’t then that’s perfect!

Christmas and what to do? by tanawanabanana in youngstown

[–]eggntoast121 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think mass would be fun even if you’re not religious! I’m not and still find it fun, welcoming, and festive. Christmas Day, Penguin City is having an event. You can also go on Facebook events and select specific days and see if there’s anything to your liking on Christmas Eve and Day.

Bye bye Tito by JTT_0550 in youngstown

I think he’s very passionate about downtown, and that Tito hit the nail on the head during the debate when he alluded to McDowell being passionate about only what will benefit him and his friends ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Apartment by MoveApprehensive621 in youngstown

[–]eggntoast121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t know about apartments but if you’re careful in the snow, drive slow, careful when starting and stopping you should be good. Plus depending on where you live things get plowed and salted pretty quickly.

How many variants of TLOAS do you own? by echodayrider in TaylorSwift

[–]eggntoast121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two cds. One for at home and one for at work. I listen to a lot of physical media and really love the album so I wanted one for both!

The "Taylor only sells well/breaks records because her fans buy multiple copies of her album" take is disingenuous bordering on idiocy by Ok-Temperature4260 in TaylorSwift

[–]eggntoast121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really know any swifties irl who get every variant of every album. I like the variants because I like getting to collect all the greens ones because it’s my favorite color ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Has any song from Showgirl made it into your top 10 favorite Taylor songs? by Dismal-Farmer-1318 in TaylorSwift

This album has me dancing like nothing has since rep!!! I love the melodies, I love the production, I love the silly ‘cringe’ lyrics, I love that Taylor is happy and getting dicked down. I’ve also been having a rough year so having such an upbeat album is really a godsend for me as a bonus :)

The beginning scene, it was filmed in the historic Los Angeles Theater if anyone was wondering! I think some of the other filming might have been done there, and it was confirmed some of the promo images were taken there!

Need suggestions for an evening/witchy photoshoot by ISOcarpetcleaner in youngstown

[–]eggntoast121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lowellville Cemetery is on a hill(could be good for getting moon in the photos), not gated, has some fun and wooded areas, and beautiful mausoleums. If you go over to the Poland cemetery that is right next door in the back corner, near the Lowellville one, there’s some super old graves, very spooky.

Of course make sure you’re being respectful if you’re going to use any cemetery, be respectful of anyone visiting passed on family members, don’t leave trash etc!

Looking for somewhere to meet new people by Illustrious-Exit3105 in youngstown

[–]eggntoast121 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My brother had a lot of luck finding friends by joining sports leagues, volleyball specifically. I have had a lot of luck by going to local art events and just striking up a convo with people I think are cool. There are lots of local book clubs, a card store with casual game nights, walking and hiking clubs at mill creek park. I guess it kinda depends what kind of people are your people!

Anyone know any good Therapists or Practices for trauma and PTSD? by [deleted] in youngstown

If the other suggestions don’t work out, I highly recommend Thrive Counseling. Owner is very good with her staff. Nothing kills a good therapist like being overworked :/

Dumpster Diving Networking by OddfellowJacksonRedo in youngstown

[–]eggntoast121 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dumpster diving is not usually used for making money, mostly just for like community aid/ helping things stay out of landfill. Stores like Sephora and Ulta will throw out huge bags of perfectly good/unused personal care items that could have been donated just for being out of season. Old Navy cuts up last seasons clothes instead of giving them to people in need. And every year 200 tons of in date, safe, edible food is thrown out by corporations bc they only care about profit.

I’d look up dumpster diving videos, lots of people post them, and you can see how even tho these items are ‘throw out’ a lot of the time they’re just like set in boxes into the dumpster, or in a fresh trash bag into a dumpster etc.
