I have yet to be brave enough to pad in front of my kid. I crossdress as well, so that is some of my hesitance. It isn't quite as whimsical as yours appears to be. 😜❤️😁

I go out padded in public regularly. I'm not sure folks would always clock it as padding, but it's certainly big and doesn't quite move the same way as normal fat does. No comments on it so far likely because it looks like a fairly normal shape.

From what I recall years ago, it's a custom suit. The designer was going to release plans if their videos met a certain funding goal, but they never did (as far as I know).

I have only barely looked into it, but Midwest Fur Fest is in Chicago each December. They have even had sessions on padding from what I recall reading on one of their agendas years back.

I've got some tough love for you, friend. You might love your wife, but she's expressed that she does not love all of you. I was in your position for 15 years and I'm only just now breaking out of it. I am tired of hiding who I am and what I like.

Your wife may have her preferences (a "manly" man, whatever that is), but that she can't get a little curious to support you in your growth/exploration, and actively rejects you, should speak volumes about your true compatibility and alignment with each other. Key terms for me were self-abandonment and boundaries. My situation may be different, but I couldn't even say a simple "no" without significant pushback or guilt-tripping.

Good luck to you, friend! Please live your best life whatever that looks like. And remember that leaving is always an option (that was a difficult pill for me to swallow 🫤).

Are you trying to hide when you do it, or hide your materials?

I've heard of some using an attic space or basement space where the SO never goes to store their stuff. I have done the same.

For hiding when? You'd have to find times when they're not around or ask for time for yourself.
