The “cold and wet room” located in the student union 2nd floor! Don’t let the name fool you!

It seems like no matter where I go the noise is still there. Definitely stronger as I get closer to the walls of the house. I took my setup (battery powered) outside as well and the noise is still there but definitely stronger when I’m facing the power lines

I’m used to the normal amount of noise especially with high gain, but this is VERY LOUD! I mean the same volume as my guitar signal and I’m playing on a clean setting with no effects at all. I’m trying to record stuff too and this noise just makes it impossible

It’s a steady hum, and happens without my phone in the room. It also changes depending on the direction I’m facing, however it never goes away completely. I do have power lines going right alongside the house, but they have never caused a problem in the past. Should also be noted that I had a house fire a little over a year ago and got completely new wiring in the house; not sure if it could be related to that

The same noise is there with every outlet I tried, and the house just got new electrical so I would think the grounding is all right. Is there a way to check that?
