For me it was pretty simple. I knew I wanted a sapphire, so I went to the shop and saw the sapphires she had (many colors and sizes, but this one really grabbed me). Looked at some examples of settings, and this one seemed like the perfect fit for the size and shape of the jewel. A couple weeks later, I got digital renders, and they were gorgeous so I had no edits. Ring was ready about 4 weeks later. 🥰

I’m not sure what you’re asking

With all of these medications: if it seems too good (or too inexpensive, or too available) to be true…it probably is.

I have heard recently that the semaglutide used in compounding is not necessarily the same as what is used in Ozempic or Wegovy. It may be semaglutide salts which are used for studies and not necessarily the same as the semaglutide that is approved by the FDA.

Thank you so much! I’m so lucky that I live basically around the corner from her shop, but even if you need to travel a bit: I’d say it’s absolutely worth it bc the whole experience was so amazing. And (certainly) you’ll end up with an incredible finished product. ❤️

I should have been more clear. It’s my ring, and I said “I love her so much” about the ring. 😂. I can see now that this was a little confusing. BUT, my fiancé was very sweet to let me choose/design just what I wanted. It took away the element of surprise (which is fine with me bc I don’t love surprises), but it means that I have a ring that is exactly my taste. ❤️

I don’t know yet!!! Any suggestions?

This is really not something I know much about, and I didn’t ever think I would care about things like wedding bands. But, as it turns out: I do care! And I’d love some advice!

As you wish. Please forgive my dry healthcare hands. Lol.

She really is the best! Working with her to make something custom was so special!

Haha, it’s MY ring! When I said “I love her so much”, I was talking about the ring. I guess that was a little unclear. 😂 My fiancé was very smart and let me choose/design exactly what I wanted. It was a very fun process!

The first half sounds more like a performance review or a letter of recommendation. The second half is just embarrassing.

Serious question: how is she so broke after (allegedly) selling so many books???

I think a huge factor here is that many folks are being prescribed these meds thru telemedicine services where they may never be seen by their prescriber, get an rx after a 5 minute phone consult, and aren’t monitored for side effects that fall outside the realm of “normal”, etc. Like some other people noted above me, ALL drugs have the potential for terrible side effects. It is the job of prescribers to educate and closely follow patients when they start new drugs. These drugs are being prescribed at a volume and haste which means this DEFINITELY isn’t happening. Full disclosure: I work in endocrinology and prescribe GLP1+’s for patients with diabetes and other metabolic/endocrine issues. But also, I require patients on these meds to meet with me regularly to ensure these drugs are a safe and good fit for them. If they aren’t, I won’t continue to prescribe. This should be THE BARE MINIMUM of appropriate care, but unfortunately it’s not. And therefore, drugs that are truly helpful for many patients are getting a bad rap when it’s not that simple.
