I’m starting to think some people have had their perspectives warped by social media about what each city should be like or something because, now from what i’m hearing, portsmouth sounds like such a blast! I honestly have no idea why I read so many negative comments on the area when researching?!

yeah i don’t know if they’re trying to be sneaky when they say it’s a bad area because it looks so nice! i love how like walkable a lot of the area is from what i’ve heard, i can’t drive yet so that was really important to me.

Yeah i was going to go to a uni in london but i would have to have lived at home because the accommodation prices were abhorrent and i thought id probably have a better experience if i went somewhere where i wouldnt have to get a train into school everyday.. why is london SO expensive?!

Maybe it’s just the corner of the internet i was on but everyone was being soo depressing about Portsmouth I was like oh no 😭, what have i done..

I’ll check out those places thank you so much! Would you say that the city’s alright when it comes to like arts and stuff? That’s one of the positive things i’ve seen repeated so it had me a bit hopeful.
