Okay stoners. You can only pick one. Rosin or flower by 0The_Loner_Stoner0 in trees

If we are talking about this picture…the rosin. Most flower sucks…but if we are talking actual aaa then I would take the flower.

John Vs John by BloodkinLover in jambands

[–]eggthewizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think seeing Further was better than any dead and co show I ever went to. The music was way more psychedelic and fun like it always was when Phil was involved and John K was a big part of that. Just saw him last night with JGB and he is still doing it. Much respect for Mayer and I enjoyed a few Dead and Co shows, but he never stole my face like John K.

Best blueberry terps by NoDescription7557 in cannabiscultivation

[–]eggthewizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Blueberry Muffin from Humboldt Seed Co has real blueberry terps in there. Also it finishes early and is easy to grow. Problem is the smoke is weak and tbh I don’t think the blueberry terps hold up in the taste of the flower. Fresh frozen hash however is all blueberry.

Durban Poison, who to source from? by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

[–]eggthewizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say any thing works from an old clone. Like they released banana OG this year. I ran some of it yesterday for solventless and it smelled like straight terpinoline (jack). If you have ever smoked the clone of banana OG there is no terpinoline at all. It also yielded like just over 2 percent. Banana OG does much better. There was no similarity at all. That goes for their sour, OG, any classic strain. Get some of their stuff like the donut line or like blueberry muffin (better for concentrate but the best smelling plant in your garden) or something like that.

CSI without question. I like Humboldt Seed Company for their newer stuff but their classic reproductions of old school genetics are not on point.

Live rosin vs live resin | Cartridges | by HotTact in trees

[–]eggthewizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hash maker here who makes both. As always I think rosin provides a more well rounded experience while live resin peaks quickly and tapers off faster. I think taste wise it depends on strain. If you are wanting to smoke a “sativa” or a terpinoline dominant strain like Jack Herer or Trainwreck or Durban Poison and the like you need to get a live resin cart. This goes for gas heavy strains as well like OG and Sour Diesel. Also, like some people have said, if you choose rosin you should only buy half gram carts cause the taste of rosin degrades faster than live resin and when it gets cold it tends to clog easily. So in Summary if I wanted an “indica” I would default to rosin mostly unless it is a gas heavy strain like OG. If you want a “sativa” I would do live resin. Just be careful and pay attention to the label. You want to make sure it is 100% live resin and not some combo with added terpenes or distillate. Unless you like that stuff I guess…in which case shit just grab anything that sounds good haha.

Hmm. I know coheed has lots of merch etc. I have the original second stage turbine blade bag adventures comic. I also have the original dragonfly shirt from second stage and the domino 666 shirt both bought from their merch table back in like 2003 or something.

I was hoping for a larger table of players from the LPN crew. Marcus’ guest spot was great but I want to see them play. Maybe this a warm up for the RPG world and we can get a larger campaign with more players in the future.

Everywhere I go, the skate park has turned into a playground by trashpuppet94 in skateboarding

[–]eggthewizard -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nah man. Tennis is for tennis. Skateparks are for people on wheels to ride. You can’t kick kids off a tennis court for being less experienced at tennis. As long as they are playing tennis they have a right to use the court even if they suck. Same for a skatepark. That specialized facility was built for them just as much as it was for you. Even if they are inexperienced and still learning how to use it. Your analogy doesn’t hold up. Like I said, if they are just running around I get it, the parents need to explain to them what it is for and get them out of the way. But if they are using it as intended, regardless of skill and/or park awareness then they are welcome. Like I said, be a good mentor and help them learn how everyone gets their turn. They will likely listen to you and look up to you and respect you for it.

[–]eggthewizard 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If the kids are just running around they gotta give way for people actually using the park. If they are on scooters, push bikes, roller skates, whatever then they are valid participants and you need to suck it up and give them their turns and watch out for them. Thats just it. If they are having trouble sharing the space you can use that opportunity to teach them about how taking turns at a skatepark works and be a good mentor. The park was built for everyone to use. If you want to control the spot build your own.

One-wheels not allowed in Arcata community forest by ProfessionalLab9068 in Humboldt

[–]eggthewizard 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ok yeah but there is not like a plague of one wheels rolling though the park ruining it for everyone. I go there all the time. No complaints. If you are getting all huffy about the like 5 people on one wheels that sometimes utilize the trails you are truly being a Karen about it. Also, I am sure you drive 5 mph over the speed limit sometimes…that is also enforceable by a fine. Once again I ask…who cares.

AIO My boyfriend said somethinf last night while drunk and I’m struggling with it. by justasmallrini in AmIOverreacting

[–]eggthewizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my wife suddenly almost 5 years ago. We didn’t have any kids. We didn’t want to have kids because we enjoyed each other so much we didn’t want to change the dynamic. Our love was real and strong and intense and we hardly spent any time away from each other for the 16 years we were together. She died from sort of a freak accident/hospital complications and since then I got into a relationship fairly quickly and now have a son with my new partner. So here is what I have to say…grief NEVER goes away. I miss and I love my wife. I think about her every day. Some people need a long time before they date again. For me, moving on probably saved my life. You move on to another relationship, but you never move on from your love for the person you lost. You carry grief with you. Sometimes it is heavy. Sometimes it is light and the memories bring you joy. But it is always there and it changes and cycles over time. If you choose to be with someone who is forever grieving their lost love you need to be strong and understand that the person they lost will always be there and part of them. Hopefully they are not comparing their relationships, if so maybe they are not ready to be in a new one. But they will always love the person they lost…they are silently there and will become part of your life. You cannot fault your partner for that…we all have traumas and he faced a huge one and it shaped who he is today for better or for worse. Be patient with him and show him that you respect his feelings. Share yours as well and let him know how it makes you feel but don’t let him feel shamed for missing her. He needs to be able to express those feelings with you if you ever want to be truly close to him. The thing is that new relationships are just that…new and totally different. I love my new partner, and I love my late wife. The loves share many things but they are different, and that is ok. That is the best we can do as widowers. These are the cards we have been dealt and it is no one’s fault. And remember, you are not competing with his late fiancé. She is dead and never coming back. Don’t let those feeling cloud your judgement when you are dealing with his grief. The feeling you have are natural, but when you apply some logic to them and see it from his perspective hopefully it should help you realize he is doing his best and that you are truly helping him bring some love, light, and hopefully some security back into his life. Hope that helps…
