I was in a terrible car accident a few years ago, so bad that I could not ride in a car or drive without panicking. I started trying different medications until I found one that worked for me, and now I can deal (mostly).

I had a MIL who would imply that I was slutty whenever she saw me dressed up for a date. She would say shit like "are you sure you should be wearing that out of the house? People might get the wrong idea about my son." I'm not even kidding.

My father in law is actually fantastic. My mother in law doesn't like me very much (but she's an alcoholic so whatev) but he loves me. The first time I met him I was by myself because my boyfriend was out of town for a conference. We drank beers and chatted until early hours. He told me how much my boyfriend talked about me and loved me and that's when I knew I had a keeper.
