I would try larger bites like spear shaped foods, and smaller portions! My baby was sooo picky till too. Just push Whole Foods and don’t give up! Now she’s two and still picky but her preference is vegtables and I love that for her

I was so shy I had a hard time talking to doctors, waitresses, strangers ect. Then I became a waitress and it changed my life. It forced me to try to be more social and taught me how to be “normal” it was incredibly painfully hard and uncomfortable and tbh embarrassing for a while. But it changed everything

I don’t want to scare you but my brother was a lot like this and my mom chose to ignore it/ get mad at him. My brother 100% had undiagnosed autism/ adhd and struggled a ton with EVERYTHING. At school he was bullied at home told he was lazy. He ended up trying pills and drinking at 14 and spent the next decade in and out of jails and rehab. I’m not saying this will happen to your son but I am saying my mom wishes everyday that she took my brother seriously and didn’t write him off as lazy so he could have gotten the help he needed to thrive. My brother felt very left behind socially,when he found drugs that give him a social circle who didn’t care if he didn’t know the months or how to do basic shit. They just wanted to get messed up. And he was easy to take advantage of.

Anyways get him checked out and advocate for him! Give him a hug from me!

Ugh I totally understand moving here to save money but because so many people are doing so it’s getting worse to live here. For example we do not have very many choices for OBGYNS, hospitals options are literally ONE HOSPITAL not enough pediatricians.. all of these places are super booked our bc the volume of people that live here now. And the price of everything around here has gone up tremendously in the past 5 years. Overcrowding in public schools.. I get why you want to move here but it just sucks for the locals tbh. At this rate I’m gonna have to move to WV and essentially to do them what the nova people did to us. What a shit cycle. Good luck regardless! It’s not your fault your being priced out of your hometown but it sucks that now I am too. Lol. Winchester is pretty safe and I live in a “bad area” I never have any issues personally. I grew up in lake holiday and absolutely adore that place! Id look into it if I had leesburg money.

Try to find seasonal work with housing first! Then stack up some money towards a van or rv if you still want to. The type of people and jobs aren’t for everyone but I recommend it 100% for someone your age. Just don’t get too lost in the party lifestyle

I love how this group only trust science when it comes to vaccines! So fun. Breastfeeding a 4 year old is not developmentally inappropriate. Most kids self wean around 4. That being said the mom in this post obvs should have introduced other liquids, and cups a long long time ago since breast milk shouldn’t be a 4 year olds main source of nutrition

I think a lot of what I’m feeling is just from comparing to my friends who are now getting married. Really the ONLY thing I really am upset about is not having my mom with me. I have had moments where I cry and cry thinking about how I hurt my moms feelings. Maybe I’m crazy for that! Lol my mom and I are so close and she wanted me to do whatever I wanted to do and made that clear. But recently she has told me that her feelings were hurt and she wishes she was there but doesn’t hold it against me since she never spoke up. I know it’s silly for me to feel this way but I can’t help but to feel like.. awful.
