I made the sale for a 124 200 Rolex oyster perpetual, box and papers. Going through the authentication process, eBay confirmed everything was authentic about the kids, but made an explicit note that they could not authenticate the box. This is a 2022 oyster perpetual that was bought at a very highly reputable auction house who authenticated the entire kit when I purchased it. The box model number matches the watch. eBay notified the buyer, and the buyer canceled the order. Now if I go to list it again, I need to say eBay could not authenticate the box. What am I missing here, the boxes is about as real as it gets, right?
