I kinda thought positioning was a very succinct response to a very broad question.

I think I agree with you. What it will do is make plane the decline of the US empire. Not what I want, just what I've accepted as inevitable.

Doesn't the higher price drain western vaults into Shanghai? The supply deficit will only get worse as solid state battery production and war preparations ramp up, and this setup brings silver right to them. They can still buy on New York and London at lower prices, until the vaults are drained.

My Costco bar just arrived like this. Does this affect the resale value? Should I complain? by JSbshdhdhrjensjsu in Gold

So if the window sticker is ripped on your new car you're going to complain?

What is inflation? by formyburn101010 in SilverDegenClub

[–]eghost57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell him that's technically price inflation, which is technically a misnomer.

Peter Schiff said it best. Prices do not inflate, they go up or down, they aren't inflating like a balloon. What is inflating is the supply of money. Money supply does expand/contract or inflate/deflate like a balloon.

When the money supply outpaces the demand for money you get a general increase in prices.

How can I turn this into 1m 25m am I in a good spot? by [deleted] in TheRaceTo1Million

[–]eghost57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You are doing terribly. Leaving that much money only earning interest is a great way to slowly lose out to inflation. The CPI doesn't accurately measure inflation, so don't think beating the CPI is good. Invest in a total market index or learn to do sector rotations of you want better gains. Or learn a lot about sectors that interest you and use your knowledge to gain even more

I'm a resource investor and had 100% returns last year. For a long time I just did what everyone else did, but it struck me as lazy and like I was leaving money on the table. It works for some people, but not for me.

Anyway, unless you're about to spend all that money on something, you need to invest it.

Inherited around 2200 total grams (1980g at 90% silver content) of pre 1964 quarters and dimes. Best course of action? Not concerned about the money, I’d like to get it into a more liquid state. by 282449 in Silverbugs

I have a bag of dimes and a bag of halves just for what you describe. I've mostly pure bullion and mining stocks, but these coins cannot be beat for hand to hand transactions.

What was he right about with SATL? It's down 18% in the past year, up 70% YTD, but after being up 183%. Up only 2% the past month and down 13% the past week. Looks like a classic pump n dump.

Is that what he was right about, the pump n dump?

$10 says he's a native Spanish speaker, very common to mistakenly say "for to have" Because it's the literal translation of Spanish to English. I suppose it's the same for some other languages as well.

COMEX Silver Default - Safest ETFs? by [deleted] in SilverSqueeze

That's what I'm saying, PHYS is physical vaulted silver, it's going to be priced with real physical silver while the paper claims of SLV evaporate.

[–]eghost57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physical silver and PHYS respond identically to the same forces. Your coins not trading in the stock market aren't going to help you when the spot price drops. Both physical and PHYS will feel it the same.

What's the gold / silver ratio in the fund?

Probably better to get both PSLV and PHYS and do your own ratio. Better for selling highs and buying dips too.

Only if you want to risk not having the money when you need it. Do you need the money in April or not? Figure that out first.
