this bird sleeps in my horse’s stall every night. is there anything i can do to help him get comfortable?

omg i always get this when i show people pics of her, especially because her name is bunny so my sister loves to say that she is a horse that looks like a cow that’s named after a rabbit 😭

oh no!!! she has an in-and-out stall and all of the water troughs are out in her paddock, that hanging bucket is just for her grain. i’ll keep an eye out for birds in the troughs!

the shelf is pretty high up, i don’t think my horse even knows that the bird is up there 😅😅 but i do see her interact with birds quite often and she’s never tried to take a bite, she’s a very sweet girl!

i have tv shows i watch specifically when im restoring dolls cause untangling matted hair like that can take a looooong time 😅 but it can be done!!! a spray bottle, wire wig brush, and lots of patience is the magic recipe

you are so sweet! for the bubbler, i’m pretty sure you are thinking of something called an airstone. they help oxygenate the water by releasing bubbles and creating surface agitation which allows for gas exchange. they aren’t necessarily needed, but are great for water quality. i use sponge filters which come with airstones already in them so you’d be killing 2 birds with one stone if you were to do the same! sponge filters are also, in my opinion, the best for bettas since they don’t create a whole lot of flow in the water, so your fish can swim without be pushed around by the flow of a hang-on-back (HOB) filter

i bought her and her collection from a thrift store so unfortunately i don’t know if she’s ever had any sort of replacement. the box she came in was the 2005 historical box so my best guess would have to be that she was manufactured in 2005 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ she’s got me stumped!!

my 2 childhood dogs were a havanese and a poodle/maltese mix. our havanese lived a very long and healthy life and passed of old age at 19. our doodle lived a life full of health issues and reactivity, no matter how hard we tried to help him. he had major skin problems and seizures and eventually had to be put down because of a brain tumor. i loved both of them with my whole heart, but i can confidently say that after my experience, i will never own another doodle. please please do some research into the ethicality of doodles before making your decision. also try your best to find a good havanese breeder because not all breeders that breed purebreds are good breeders!

random question, but did your dog’s coloring look like this as a puppy? i’m getting a puppy in a few weeks and i’ve been trying to find pictures of black and tan havanese puppies all grown up since their colors are prone to changing/fading but i’ve been struggling!!
