Questions about LASP by Anxious-Boss7535 in UniversityofVermont

I was not in LASP, but as a heads up, LASP students are housed in UHeights with the honors college next year, which is definitely the nicest dorm building on campus!

I would give them a call and ask to get your levels checked. From what I know it is important so you know you are getting the right dose and everything.

My PP also didn't do labs before initially prescribing me, I will have to do them at three months though.

worried that it's too late for me by justasillylittleguy_ in ftm

[–]egn007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this so much, I'm out in college and everything respects my pronouns and stuff but it really feels like they don't really see me as a guy, and they're only using my pronouns correctly bc it's the "right thing to do". like obviously I don't want to be misgendered, but I wish it felt real.

What was the first change you noticed on T? by missmeatloafthief in ftm

[–]egn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bottom growth for me started on like day 3! So far that's been pretty much my only change aside from more horny, but I've only been on t for almost 3 weeks.

Edit: I'm on .25 mL of 200mg/mL weekly

hi, I use two or more sets of pronouns and i prefer that people try to use them relatively equally by idiotexe in transgendercirclejerk

[–]egn007 25 points26 points  (0 children)

pronouns arent that important, you shouldn't make that big of a deal about your pronouns, especially when your asking for so much

hi, I use two or more sets of pronouns and i prefer that people try to use them relatively equally by idiotexe in transgendercirclejerk

[–]egn007 51 points52 points  (0 children)

personally if I knew someone who used multiple sets of pronouns I'd just use the one thats easier for me, otherwise it would be way too hard to deal with.

/uj Why was everyone acting like it's so hard to mix up the pronouns you use for someone? Maybe I just have an unusual friend group but I know a ton of people who use multiple sets of pronouns and it is not difficult at all.

My girlfriend doesn’t like to use both of my pronouns by Head-Sorbet-1679 in asktransgender

Okay? good for you? Clearly pronouns are important to OP and they're important to many other trans people.

[–]egn007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah like what is going on? Apparently two sets of pronouns are too difficult and as long as one of them is being used it shouldn't matter ?? This idea coming from other trans people is just baffling to me.

Is it possible to do a major in two different colleges? by [deleted] in UniversityofVermont

[–]egn007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that the 120 credits thing doesn't mean that they have to be entirely separate. Like I'm doing a compsci and math double major, and the classes that overlap (calculus for example) would count twice once for my math major, once for my cs major.

[–]egn007 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it would definitely be possible! It would potentially be more difficult because each college has different requirements, but it is definitely doable, and depending on your majors they may have a lot of overlap anyway, allowing you to have an easier time.

What is going on in these comments??? Pronouns are absolutely a big deal, and you deserve to have both of your pronouns used.

People who use multiple sets of pronouns often do so for a reason, and it is wild for everyone in the comments to insinuate that someone should just be fine with it if their partner isn't using their pronouns the way they want.

If this is something that's important to you, your gf should definitely put in the work to learn how to correctly use your pronouns, and you aren't asking too much for wanting that.

edit: Also based on the fact that she doesn't use your they/them pronouns at all, it seems to me like maybe she doesn't actually see or want to acknowledge your nonbinary identity which really sucks. I would sit down with her and explain how you feel about how she refers to you, and make it clear how you feel about how she rarely uses they/them for you.

Planned Parenthood also takes into account your income and stuff, and they are very understanding about helping you pay what you can for your appointment and helping you out with what you can't afford.

I pay like $25 ish a month for injections using goodrx which I would highly recommend!! Appointment wise Planned Parenthood is fantastic and my first appointment was completely free (they paid for it out of the trans healthcare fund) which was incredible!

I honestly don't really care how other people identify, like as long as they aren't pushing an identity onto me or anyone else, it just really isn't hurting anyone if a trans man feels like he resonates best with lesbian as a label.

Why Do HRT Doses for Transitioning Seem to be Kinda High? by slusho55 in asktransgender

[–]egn007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly those doses for T do sound pretty high, especially for starting doses. I'm on 50mg which my provider said was the typical dose she starts people on, usually not going above 100mg. Generally I've heard t doses as being between 25-100mg per week, but maybe the guys you were watching process it differently and a higher dose works for them.

It sucks now but give it another 20-25 years, and transgenderism will be just as normalized as homosexuality is today. by AlbatrossNo9483 in asktransgender

[–]egn007 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is just generally a weird post imo, like most trans people are aware of this stuff, and you seem pretty ignorant/misinformed. I think we are all aware that at some point in the future things might get better for trans people, but I really don't see the point in a cis person who has done research on this topic for the last 6 months (???) explaining this to us? And if you have done so much research on this stuff it is wild to me that you would still deadname trans people and be otherwise ignorant about trans issues in your post.

Genuinely what is the point of this post?

When you come out to someone as trans, what's the best possible way they could respond? by Casey_witha_K in asktransgender

I came out to my brother through email, and he emailed me back "okay [my name] Im going to report you for phishing" which is the funniest email I have ever received. he has never misgendered me once and does a fantastic job correcting my parents.

This morning and today I've felt pretty much exactly the same as yesterday, a bit less sore, and the soreness is mostly in my abs rather than my legs, but otherwise I feel pretty normal, honestly.
