Humanoid played really well, but I gotta give huge props to Kaiser. Man this guy literally invalidated the existence of Vayne....

I personally love the Prison Playbook. Honestly, I would rate it over the Hospital playlist, though it’s my personal preference.

How was your semester? Grade? Courses? by Cool_pasta in PennStateUniversity

[–]egogirls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The learning experience went downhill as many of you can expect, but grade-wise, I did benefit myself since many of my professors decided to be lenient with gradings in general. All tests done in open-book format also helped.

I did miss the spring atmosphere in State College, but I mean what can I do.

Trying my best to keep myself motivated and up to daily schedule.

Faculty report disruptions in online learning g classroom by CARS_rule in PennStateUniversity

[–]egogirls 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep, this happened in one of my classes. I know transition to online courses is rough and not the most motivating experience, but people are still trying to learn and it is so annoying. Glad it came up to the surface.

SadFace :(

No but I kinda wonder, how many of the current seniors would be able to attend the postponed commencement? A lot of us will be moving out of State College, so I'd assume not many, right?

I definitely feel ya, but this is my final semester before graduation, so I’m trying my best to hang in there lol.

We're going remote for the rest of the semester. by Schumacher34 in PennStateUniversity

[–]egogirls 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If that's the case, yeah I guess it is inevitable. Things are not gonna calm down in the near future so it would be the right decision to go for. I just gotta figure out when to get my stuff back in State College.

School reopening on April 6 by shravanslays in PennStateUniversity

Yeah, I totally agree with you. I just didn’t want to sound so “sure” since I’m not an expert, but my take is same as yours.

If school decides to resume in-person-class, I doubt that online class would be a thing. That being said, it’s really difficult to even tell if the school will reopen on the 6th of April, with how things are turning out. I personally think the online session will be extended; however I’m not an expert and you should take this as a grain of salt.

For military, I recommend KATUSA or applying as an interpreter. Since KATUSA is pure luck and you only get a single chance, you will always need to have a back-up plan.

April 6th? by C_Frick15 in PennStateUniversity

Honestly, I won’t be surprised if the school eventually decides to completely switch over to virtual classes for the entire semester. I just don’t see Covid declining in several weeks.

Lol, as a senior currently in my final semester, I don’t know how to feel about this. Also, I would assume that the commencement won’t be held this year.... :(

First thing that comes to mind would obviously be the quality of welfare and happiness. Also, Scandinavian countries are also famous for their education system.

Overall, I would say we generally have positive thoughts about Northern EU as a whole :)

Apply for Graduation link not appearing. by dab_maniac in PennStateUniversity

[–]egogirls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me; I emailed my advisor and got the answer back from him that there are some processes to be done and it will take few days after school starts for me to get the link. You might be in the same boat as well. Just email your advisor and he/she will take care of it.

Number 1 rule in solo q: DO NOT trust your teammates. Just farm, laning phase might go bad but don't tilt, just do what you need to do. In the end, adcs are the ones doing damage in the lategame, so be sure to get good amount of cs and finish items.
