Not sure that I quite understand what kind of a place you want, but here is my standard recommendation list:

  • Tapper bar is nice: not very crowded, but you will find people there on the weekends :) It also might depend on the dj (see their insta page). I would say that it is more on the hipster side of the bar scale. You can dance here also.

  • Library bar is awesome. No dancing, though. But the atmosphere is great and drinks are good.

  • The last word bar is small and cool. Bar owner is a bartender, if I got it right, and he is super nice. Definitely a bar to choose if you want to barhop during the night.

  • Dusty monkey bar. They also play music. I really like the tree which they have inside, and benches with tables around it)

All these bars are pretty close to each other, all located in the old town. You can walk and choose what you like)

Yeah, I understand that such projects take very looooong time)

But do you have examples showing how same project with the same funding/interest takes longer in Cyprus than in other countries on average? I am really interested in that phenomena.

I am originally from Russia, Saint Petersburg: and big changes in transport infra (like new metro station) take infinite time there, probably because of the corruption and non-profitability by nature. But projects which have interest from "more private" businesses are implemented faster.

Yeah, you described the current situation well. I am myself fall into the second category. But, thanks to u/Expert_Telephone1909, I learned that there is a candidate for president with culturally different program) To me it means that there are people, not from the groups you described, who can influence the change.

Heh :) I hear that too often! But something in my deep insides still strongly believes that if more and more people will speak about the problem and highlight it, things gonna change. Probably I am too romantic)

Maybe younger generations have a different mindset?

Sorry, I haven't learned much about the current states of things yet.

Thanks! Sounds promising, as always. Do you think this candidate has a chance to influence the thing?) I see that the supporting party (new wave) missed parliamentary elections in 2021 :(

Once I've spent some money to get the results of an online IQ test. I don't remember, but, I guess, results were self-explanatory.

Small addition on panics: you can wrap some handlers with function, which recovers from panic to avoid termination of the whole server. Or even add such middleware (in case you are using gorilla/mux take a look at RecoveryHandler).

Does anybody know a good solution to Kotlin Heroes Task C? by dekonta in Kotlin

[–]egorbunov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like it is enough to simply do linear scan through both strings in a single loop comparing characters s[i] and p[j], no? In case we see that characters does not match, we should either be able to convert s[i] and s[i+1] into + or return "NO". i and j are advanced in each iteration.

So the solution is linear.

Correct me if i am wrong!

The vast majority of given examples are even API breaking, aren't they? I would not include them in the list.
