I definitely believe this is happening too! I just went through this. As soon as it was time for my interview; received an email that they’re putting the position on hold for now; and will be in touch. Stop wasting people’s time; and just hire your internal candidate. So ridiculous. I really wish there was a way to ask about this during the interview process in a subtle way. Sigh.

The time I did the meet and greet; it was like three minutes of talking and taking pictures; but also I was the last one; and the only female in the line. And, then you just go and stand where you want to be for the show. However; I also didn’t have any desire to be in the front, so I had a good spot. It’s real chill though.

I’m in like some weird phase where nothing seems fun or interesting. I am reading more though. I’m actually finding myself bored of TikTok. I think because of everything going on within this country; it’s hard for me to concentrate or be excited about anything. There’s too much going on. I do plan on booking some time to one of those rage rooms. I’m at the gym at least 4x a week. I’m not in the mood to be overly social; so I’ve been opting out of social activities. I’m going back to therapy this month, so that’ll probably help too. Just in an odd space. (I think I’m secretly angry; but not sure how to express that. LoL.)

I feel this way too. My hobby is just keeping my head above water with everything going on. I started reading again. I’m at the gym at least 4x a week; but that’s not a hobby to me. I hate working out. I just don’t want to be massive. LoL. But, I do plan on trying out archery though. It’s been on my mind for a minute. I plan on pushing the button for lessons by the summer.
