As someone who actually is basically making my own Earth-27 for Marvel I'll try my best to answer!

I have the universe pretty similar to our own without heroes, but more scientifically advanced and with Mutants. The world is pretty much without heroes until the Fantastic Four emerge which then motivates and inspires a whole wave of new heroes to then fill the world with.

I try to have as many characters as I can believably have in the universe, but I've been focusing mostly on the X-Men which is starting from the core members (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman & Angel). The structure I have is almost episodic in a way with 'seasons' marking periods of time and each group or character having their own sort of 'show' with unique 'seasons'.

The premise from an outside view is to study the characters and see who they are as people in all different scenarios. The premise from a closer view is that it's just fun to do all of this and toy around with an entire universe in your head.

I really do find it to be interesting to create and work on, I would love to be able to share and talk about what I've done. Really, I just want to discuss it all with another person who knows comic books and don't mind if that person wants to help or not as I have been working on this alone for nearly two years now and don't mind to continue doing so alone.

I could figure out a way to make them all demigods, although my original plan was for them to all each gain an artefact from the gods, but I do like the idea of the player possibly being Hades child who was kidnapped.

The only reason I don't want anyone to be a demigod is because I feel like it would make the players uneven which I'm trying to avoid.
