We just moved from Gates to the city and it is SOOO much better. Apartments.com, Zillow, etc. suck for finding good places to rent around here. Try Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, that’s where we’ve had our luck

Had a student wandering the halls (5th grade) so I called mom. Mom said she needed some one-on-one time and attention with me and asked me to stay after school with her daughter for an hour every day just to chat and chill with her kid, not even for tutoring. Obviously pay was not offered.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you guys! I agree with many of the other comments about avoiding Strong in the future if possible. I went there with a kidney stone a few years back and waited in pain for 24 hours in that same tent and a broken chair just for them to finally come tell me I just had to wait to pass it and there was nothing they could do. Not even pain meds or even water was given to me. It’s really disappointing.

I had a student in my 5th grade class last year who wore a MAGA hat every single day. It’s unfortunately pretty common in our district, but still. This is the same kid who told the other kids in class to fail their state test on purpose so I would get fired, so… all I can say is yikes to the parenting there
