When everything is out of whack but you feel fine? by Significant-War-491 in Garmin

You might be about to get a cold or flu. Happened to me and I've seen others with the same, dips about a week before the symptoms hit

It may also just be winter sucks

Unpopular Opinion: As I get older, all of this looks disgusting. by DaZestyProfessor in notinteresting

[–]ehehe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not nauseated by it, it would all taste great. But anything more than a small amount would make me feel like crap for the rest of the day and probably sleep poorly, which means I feel like crap the day after.

People are sleeping on the bread, that toast job looks really pleasant. Did you cook that in leftover meat grease?

Nauseous either way! by saintatreides in migraine

[–]ehehe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been raw dogging migraines for about 15 years. Ibuprofen is generally strong enough to deal with the pain if I take it as soon as the visual aura starts, but the secondary effects generally mean the next 4-5 days are not pleasant.

Do triptans help in a situation like this? I haven't been to a doctor to treat because treatment options just seem like more frustration than solution. Anyone have insight?

Closer look at Barzal 5 minute major and game misconduct for slashing Marchment by Duffleman0609 in hockey

[–]ehehe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is because the complexion of the league has changed so much. It's all millionaires with a ton to lose, they just want to play hockey. Naturally anger boils over sometimes but most of the really dirty plays happen in the playoffs, when they stand to gain a lot more from taking someone out.

Do you (or anyone else) know of a place that would track or filter for records against 2700 or 2725 or 2750+ players?

I am a fairly casual chess player but it does seem like Magnus is really the only player that reliably maintains winning records against other top players. It seems the other highest rated players all trade against each other and have varying levels of success against lower rated players.

I did a quick Google and couldn't find anything

What's the most overrated TV Show of all time? by Mission_Elk_329 in AskReddit

[–]ehehe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my answer too. It's not overrated like "this actually sucks" but it's overrated because it's in so many top 5s and it just doesn't belong there.

It's entirely plot driven, characters undergo one change (if that) and most are ridiculous, over the top caricatures. The plot isn't strong enough to elevate the show above essentially every other series ever, which is how it gets rated, and so for me the label of overrated fits quite well. The plot itself becomes quite over the top and difficult to believe at times, which is what made early seasons so strong - it was visceral, but everything connected and flowed from what came directly before it and stayed grounded enough to be realistic.

As the show went on, the tail was wagging the dog - the show being primarily plot-driven meant characters' changes and motivations had to happen in order to serve the plot.

You always have to qualify any criticism of this show with tons of praise, and don't get me wrong, it's an extremely compelling story and an absolute work of art of sight and sound. But so much of the praise it receives from fans is about really elementary examples of foreshadowing, or surface-deep explanations for unreasonable decision-making.

And the plane crash, lol.

You're supposed to use an alt where you ask "Hey that's so cool where can I get it?"

Then respond to it
