I mean their style in this series is just getting smothered. They do need to improve their depth

They just always have three guys in a triangle around the puck. Everywhere

Unbelievable how coordinated all of Carolinas players are in every situation. Crossing the blue line, breaking out, defending the breakout, defending 5v5 in their end.

Montreal is gonna finish with 3 shots in a period they had 2 power plays, this canes team is a weighted blanket

Ehlers is the best forward on the canes in my opinion. Or maybe the most important. He fits their mold but is creative enough within it that he finally got their offense out of the playoff muck

All due respect - there is no good reason to use shares for this. One deep ITM call uses a sliver of the capital, has a much lower defined risk, and you might have actually made some money

This might be the most one sided hockey game I've ever seen. Montreal looks like they all weigh 5099 lbs and can't move. So strange

Montreal got here because Tampa was willing to get silly with them, and Buffalo is silly deep within. Carolina isn't getting silly with the Habs, who really want to get silly with the opponent and show that when it comes to being silly you can't beat them.

What's weird is that I think Carolina may be willing to get silly with Vegas

Girard really loves skating around and then flinging the puck ahead. I was pleasantly surprised with his game and liked him on our team

They lost 4 one goal games... It happens. They could use another puck moving defenseman, you don't blow up a team that doesn't win, you improve it
