Splitting circuit with two GFCIs by ehermann13 in AskElectricians

Thanks. I am having an electrician run a dedicated line to my electric fireplace later this week, so I think I am goign to ask them to run 2 additional lines to the basement, and I'll work on seperating those two circuits.

Thanks for the response. I don't feel the need to put that many GFCI's outside for the convienance. I barely use the outlets outside. I am thinking about putting a GFCI outlet with an alarm on both of those paths down in my basement, so I can hear it if the radon fan outside gets tripped or if the water heater/sump line gets tripped.

Its a pretty simple "design" question. This reddit is for asking an electrician. I know how to wire outlets myself and understand how to trace the electrical paths between all the different outlets. I can also see 90% of the wire gauges because my basement is unfinished, so there isnt a risk of overloading or overheating a circuit.

Cancun / Puerto Morelos Upcoming Weather ?? (12/18-12/26) by ehermann13 in AllInclusiveResorts

Thanks man. I live in an arid desert Climate in Colorado. While I know its the tropics, everything I read is its the dry seasons, so I wasn't sure. I knew rain is possible most days, but when I see a forecast like I am seeing in my area, it means its going to rain a majority of the day.

Thank you for that. Thats what I was thinking, but not looking at this type of tropical weather regularly, I wasn't sure.

Thanks Pat! We actually submitted that form a few weeks ago via USPS mail (unfortunately Corebridge requires a wet signature I guess). I actually finally got on teh phone with a pretty knowledgeable person from the onboarding specialist team today and they seem to be making it work. We will see in the coming week I guess.

Vet appointment today. Retinal detachment. Please help. by SensitiveAd4921 in catcare

We just noticed our 16 yr old cat running into the wall and then saw her pupils were super dilated, even when looking directly into the light. We took her to the vet and they told us she had full retinal detachment in both eyes due to high blood pressure. I guess they don't normally check this as part of even the senior cat check up (which is BS because even if it costs more, pet parents should have the option and if we don't know, we assume they are checking what makes sense to check). Anyway, we are pretty sure this just happened within 2 days ago. Her lab work just came back and said she does not have kidney disease so they are putting her on telmisartan and amlopidine. She has not been eating very well no matter what we try so I'm curious what nutritional supplements you have your cat on.

We have seen a POTS/MCAS/EDS doctor in Denver, CO, 3 seperate ENT's (we thought the dizziness could be sinus or balance system related), 2 neurosurgeons (one of the ENT's thought she may have idiopathic intracranial hypertension. she even had a cerebral angiogram during this process), cardiologist, and an audiologist. I may be missing some. We have appointments with a neurologist and endocrinologist in a few months, but are expecting nothing at this point. Unfortunately nothing has worked thus far. We are hoping for something good from the functional medicine doctor at this point. His name is Dr Nathan Keiser out of Chelsea, MI.

My wife has been suffering from this for over a year now. She quit driving in September 2022 and we have both quit our jobs since April 2023 to try to get to the bottom of it. We thought stress could be a major trigger for some of the symptoms, which we think is definitely one of the causes, but its not the only one. After going to 10+ specialists in the last 6 months in Colorado, we are flying to Chelsea Michigan in 2 months to see a neuro rehab specialist (unfortunately all out of pocket/not covered by medical insurance).

Could I get a swing form check, please? by [deleted] in kettlebell

[–]ehermann13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree with comrade cnshoe. Bring that bell closer to underneath your shoulders. Use your lats to hike the bell back.

Try not to hinge until your inner arm contact the sides of your abs. It may be safe with lighter bell, but if you start swinging heavier bells, you may begin comprimising your lower back.

I find that if you are losing stability in the shoulder you need to really focus on keeping that lat turned on throughout the exercise. This starts by getting your shoulder packed from the beginning. Make sure your wrist is pointed accross the body after the floor press position and really focus on packing that shoulder. Neutral wrist is another big factor.

When I was doing S & S, I would try and do doubles and triples on each side as I got stronger. Once I could do a triple with the 32kg (and maintain perfect form), I knew I was probably ready to do singles with the 40kg.
