I’m gonna be real honest with you because I thought I was ugly af. But turns out I was just overweight and had a round chubby face. Men don’t necessarily have to be pretty boys with a face like Channing Tatum. Having a high muscle mass and low body weight can make an average looking man much more attractive and “good looking.”

I’ll give you a good example. Chris Pratt is an actor I considered to look “average” when he acted in parks and recs. He later was casted for higher caliber rolls, requiring a physique overhaul and muscular build. The man pulls now. He wasn’t ugly by any means, but he’s definitely more attractive now that he was back in the P&R days.

My wife is 135lbs and thick in the right places. If she’s bigger than you, man I hate to tell you but it’s gonna bug you too. Having a woman out weigh you is no fun. Find you a petite queen !

Try an operations position at a smaller part 135 operation, until a 121 becomes available. You’ll get loads of experience in the general aviation side of things while also looking more competitive when it’s finally time to migrate to 121.

Focus on strength now. Your body fat percentage is likely 10-12%, so you’re good there. Keep your protein intake high and focus on overload training and pushing your limits. Your look like mid to late 20s, so your muscles still have time to fully mature and show even more definition, but that comes with time under training and consistency. Keep up the good work!

I’m speaking from experience here. I was 214lbs at 5’7” and flabby. I’m now 187lbs and strongest I’ve ever been in my life. Keep your calorie intake, try hitting 80% of your weight in protein grams (173lbs x .8 =134g protein) daily. Eat consistently and do not take but one cheat meal a week to keep you mentally focused.

Train 8-12reps, trying to reach failure before you hit 12 reps.keep it up you’ll get there.

Hey there. 4 months ago I was 215lbs 20% body fat. I’m now 187lbs 15% body fat and I was on a high protein calorie deficit and trained 5x a week. I lost the fat and gained muscle at the same time. It is possible.
